The hotel’s decor gave me quirky, artsy vibes the moment I walked in. Artwork. Plants. Little knickknacks. Even a fish tank. Our room had a small desk and clothes rack. And a refrigerator over the desk that took me a while to realize it was a refrigerator. Another chair would’ve also been nice, since sitting options were limited to one desk chair or bed. Ac was off and it was unfortunate since it was cloudy and humid the entire time we were there. Also, no window screens, which seems to be the norm in Italy. The hotel only serves breakfast, and they do it so well. Excellent selection of pastries, cold meats and cheeses, yogurt, even fresh baked bread. Its close proximity to the city center is a plus, as well as the fact that the first village in Cinque Terre (Riomaggiore) is only 7 minutes away by train.

We booked this place as it suited our requirements: pet-friendly, 3 bedroom room, central, modern and tidy, easy to get to with a car. Enrico has made sure we received all details prior to arrival. The communication was straight forward. We didn't mind that there was no actual reception. We actually liked that the apartment building gave us some insights in authentic Italian living. We were confused that on hotel.com it is mentioned that parking is available. However, right in front of the apartment building, there is max. 2 hour parking available for 0.75 EUR per hour - after 8 pm parking is free of charge. Remember, blue lines indicate time limited parking, whereas white lines indicate an unlimited parking duration. Mentioning this information would help future guests navigate through the busy Italian traffic. Upon arrival, we met the cleaner who was friendly and allowed us to check in 1 hour prior to the agreed check-in time. In order to keep this review short, our highlights are as follows: beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, hallway and room smelled divine, Nespresso coffee machine was provided, the elevator had a great Italian feel - in summary, overall the accommodation was immaculately cleaned, well looked after and highly modernised. Another suggestion we would make is to offer free coffee. We kinda expected the coffee to be free but then read the menu and realised we had to pay for the coffee after we have already drunk all of it. We browsed a few reviews online and were shocked what people had to say as for us the accommodation was just great! We assume the place has not always provided great service. Good location between the train station and port. The shower drain was a bit blocked and would over flow if you had it on full. You could also smell the typical unpleasant drain smell from a blocked pipe.

I stayed in this hotel 5 days and 4 nights in August 2022. The hotel is in an excellent location, almost on the sea. The rooms that look at the sea are wonderful. It is also two steps from the station and public means to reach La Spezia or to take a ferry to tour the islands (Palmaria, etc.). The hotel has a large public outdoor parking (7€ per day ticket provided by the hotel but payable) at about 10 minutes walking distance. Comfortable and clean rooms for the family of 3 people plus one cat. In general a great living. Surely very recommended structure.

The hotel rooms are very very beautiful, the sea view is very beautiful, especially the restaurant, and the view of the swimming pool are first-class, I will choose here again.
