Miglioranzi Apartments

I first must address the bad review on trip advisor regarding the noise and location. I stayed in the exact same room and had no issues sleeping and no issues with the noise level . The windows have double glazing with additional shutters therefore if you keep these shut no issues . In addition there is an air conditioning unit for heat and keeping cold so no need to have windows open. The hosts are fantastic their attention to detail and are always responsive when you message them . The apartments are only a 15 minute walk to the centre and yes on a busy road but you only spend time in your room to sleep as Verona has so many sights . The location of the hotel is a 20 minute walk to the train/ bus station where you can go to the lakes or you can travel by bus where the bus stop is located directly outside the apartments. The cleanliness of the rooms are excellent and the rooms have character and to top it all the breakfast is outstanding (continental) highly recommend these apartments. I have recommend my daughters to come to these apartments and Verona. One final thank you to Roman and Ana fantastic hosts .

What a perfect place! The rooms are full of authentic character, the terrace is a great place to relax and the location is perfect (10 minute walk to the very centre and if you want a day trip to Lake Garda, the bus stop is just outside). Roman couldn't have been more helpful and the breakfast was great. Fruit juice, yoghurt etc. but also sweet and savoury pastries, still hot from the bakery, all bagged up in our own individual box. This is such a good idea as it meant anything we didn't eat straight away (there's a lot) we could pack and také with us each day - which really helps if you are on a budget and don't want to go to a restaurant for lunch and dinner. A great place to stay and reasonably priced.

Stayed in this little cute B&B. Rooms are very spacious, well sorted with texture. The place looks very clean and looked after. I don’t usually have breakfast and the patron called me several times to make sure that everything was ok with it. I found it as a nice touch with attention to details. The 'apartments/B and B are located at a busy intersection (where is all that traffic going?) but the double windows in the room shut out the noise. We stayed on the second floor without balcony, or a need for one, as the wonderful terrace is close by through the kitchen. The terrace has plenty of private alcoves and is really a botanical garden. This former (mini) palace has plenty of adornments throughout. Our room's aircon was quiet. Leaving the building and turning left across the road, past the park/ravine you soon arrive at the Basilica San Zeno and just beyond that to the right is a plaza with an assortment of restaurants....just minutes from home! Beyond that is the river path, about a 20 minute walk from the Miglioranzi and on my first night I was stunned by my first vista of the Adige River and the Old Bridge. See attached ipod photo. From the river the old town is easily accessed and we walked different loops daily coming and going. One 'shortcut' from the old town is across Vittoria bridge to the arsenal and a return via the Old Bridge, particularly enjoyable at dusk. Management are on site if you need them.
