"Great location near the station and buses. The room itself is small, but the view from the window was of Vesuvius, which is very beautiful. Breakfasts were very good, with a wide selection of everything, including fruit. But the shower was inconvenient: there were no shelves for toiletries, only an overhead shower, and the door was flimsy, so water leaked out. There was also no complimentary water; you could only buy it. The room had no refrigerator or kettle."

"We booked with one ticket for 4 people. Although the room was small, the beds were set up well for 4 people, so we had a comfortable stay. Parking was free, and the breakfast was much better than expected, which was great."

"This is absolutely the best hotel I've ever stayed at in Italy!!! The hotel is built on a hillside, and it's a bit difficult to find by car. When I first arrived, I couldn't find the entrance, but the staff were incredibly helpful and immediately arranged for a colleague to come down on a motorcycle to show me the way. When we returned in the evening, parking was scarce, but the staff were also very patient, guiding us step-by-step to find a parking spot. They even gave us a tour during check-in, and the view from the terrace was absolutely stunning! It faces the Bay of Naples directly, and you can see Mount Vesuvius in the distance. The pool and outdoor restaurant also offer impeccable views. Having breakfast on the terrace in the morning, with the sea and the volcano in sight, the atmosphere was simply amazing, like a dream. The service was excellent, and the scenery is unparalleled. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Amalfi. A hidden gem of a hotel, highly recommended!!!"

"Overall, it's an acceptable hotel, BUT there are a lot of stairs. Our room was on the -2 floor (according to the elevator), but after exiting the elevator, we still had to navigate through several labyrinths and go down more stairs to reach the room, which was very difficult with suitcases. The room itself was good and spacious, but cold, as the hotel is essentially built into a 'mountain'. The air conditioning for heating didn't work. Luckily, there were blankets, which helped. The soundproofing was poor as the room door didn't seal properly and had gaps. There's no complimentary water. Whatever we requested at the reception, we had to go get it ourselves (strange service). There's a good heated towel rail in the bathroom and a bidet shower. The staff is very polite. Breakfast: There's food available, but it's not very diverse. We arrived around 9:30 AM, and almost everything was gone, so we had to wait for more to be prepared. The hotel is close to the train station, which is convenient. The views from the hotel are very beautiful. Parking is paid (also very strange)."

"While there are a few good things about the hotel, the fact that it’s near impossible to get a good night’s sleep here really ruined the holiday for me and my family, as we spent the whole time exhausted. You can hear absolutely every movement in the rooms above, below and next to you, if they watch the TV at midnight or 6am, so do you! Lots of guests need to get up early for flights or excursions, so from 6am each day, all you can hear in your room is furniture being dragged over the floor above you, the TV on next door, people slamming doors (all the wardrobe doors slam noisily as they are old and clumsy, plus the bathroom doors are stiff old sliding doors that screech). We had earplugs but they did nothing as it’s so close and so loud. Go to bed early you say! Yep, we tried that, but the hotel rents out its outside area to events that blast loud music towards the hotel rooms from massive speakers until about 1am. Just absolutely bizarre. When you mention any of this to reception, you are scowled at, laughed at, at one point the man on reception told me ‘it’s not us that’s the problem, it’s the other guests!’ and I was dismissed. The pool area is lovely and not too packed. Rooms are small, dated and noisy but the view is amazing from the weird balcony. Proximity to the train station is great if you want to travel around, which we enjoyed doing."

"We stayed in the lovely clean, spacious and modern apartment with dishwasher, washing machine and oven/ hob - perfect if you have kids who don’t always appreciate restaurant food! The apartment is also very close to amenities - train station is around 7-8 minutes away which can whisk you off to nearby Pompeii, Naples or Sorrento. Definitely visit the Pizza by the metre restaurant next door and also try the local famous gelato place, popular with the locals!"
