There was a power outage due to a tropical storm and we were asked to change to another hotel. The sheets in that hotel were not clean. The environment of the Blue Horizon Hotel is very good, but we were very unlucky. Let’s come back next time.

The resort is beautiful. The infinity pool and beachfront are gorgeous! We loved being able to walk on the beach and swim in the pool 24 hours a day! We were only there for 1 night and would like to come back in the future.
Lilliam, our host/receptionist, is truly a gem at this resort! She was friendly, helpful, and allowed us to use the amenities before check-in and that made all the difference for us since we did not have our own transportation. Flexibility was much appreciated. She also helped us get transportation at check-out when our other drivers fell through. Thank you so much Lilliam!
Restaurant, bar, and staff were not what we expected and need to be improved to provide an exceptional FULL-resort quality experience. More servers, faster service, higher quality food needed to make this resort experience better!
Rooms were nice. Beds comfortable. Some much needed renovations could make it even better.

Small and relaxing resort, with no children running around! Beautiful swimming pool in a beautiful setting. We really enjoyed our stay. However we felt slightly misled about beach, which was not easy to access (have to climb down a steep rocky path) from the property, and it was not set up for sitting and not suitable for swimming. Had a couple of issues with electricity in our room and there were only a couple of working plug sockets in inconvenient places. They were also stingy with towels.

Cute boutique hotel west of Esperanza. Perfect place to relax as it was not super busy. Staff was super friendly. Definitely island vibes here.
