A 5-minute drive from downtown Fano and its 2 beaches (one pebble and one sand), is the main apartment in this country house. The house has a large garden, and many secular trees. The house is secluded in the fields and yet 5 minutes from downtown!The house, beautiful and old, with its sundial and columns, pine alley, oaks and other varieties of trees, is divided into 3 apartments. The one proposed is the largest, it occupies 2 levels, on half of the house. The other 2 apartments are occupied by 2 quiet, pleasant and discreet people, and a cute little dog who sometimes walks in the garden.It is not a luxurious house, but rather a typical Marche house, old, well maintained. She kept her original charm.The apartment is on the ground floor of a large high ceiling living room with also a dining area (although meals are often taken outside to enjoy the garden and summer), a kitchen with 2 fridges, a small living room leading to the stairs, and a shower room with WC. There is a sofa bed for 2 people in the large living room, and another sofa bed for 2 people in the small living room. The 2 sofa beds are new.On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms: 1 bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, a bedroom with a double bed and a single folding bed, and an extra bedroom, with a double bed. There is a shower room with wc, accessible by the corridor, and there is also a toilet room with sink, adjoining the extra bedroom.In total, the house can accommodate 12 people (4 on the ground floor and 8 on the first floor), in a very authentic setting with the charm of an old house, and with a large garden.Fano has a very pleasant city center, historically rich and elegant, with many shops. The area of the beach, younger and dynamic, is ideal for enjoying summer activities (beaches, swimming, cycling, etc.).The hinterland, from Fano to Urbino, is beautiful, with typical Italian hills, and totally authentic little villages, where there are often delicious little restaurants. Urbino is one of the most beautiful Italian Renaissance cities and definitely worth a visit. It is 50 minutes by car only. Moreover, also 50 minutes by car, is the Conero of Ancona, which is a mountain falling into the sea. This is a remarkable site, and the beautiful small towns of Numana and Sirollo for example, deserve a day trip, while the Conero has at its base, beautiful beaches (Porto Novo beach for example). A few minutes from the house by car, is a very convenient supermarket, Auchan, which is open on Sundays and late evenings on weekdays and Saturdays.For information, sheets and towels are included in the rental. Casa Brettino was built in 1839 as evidenced by the stone plaque affixed to the façade of the house by the man who physically built it on a building that had already existed since the 18th century or perhaps earlier. At that time it was a large farmhouse that housed several families, all engaged in the cultivation of the fields around Rio Brettino, the stream that crossed their lands.The Villa Brettino complex was completely renovated in 2015, maintaining some characteristic elements such as the stone floor and the exposed wooden beams. The rooms and living spaces have modern furnishings and are equipped with all comforts. The period furniture, wisely arranged, brings to mind the ancient history of this farmhouse.The villa is equipped on the ground floor with two kitchens, a living room and a very versatile lounge that can be used as a reception room, business meetings, conference room (which can be booked on request). One kitchen looks like a large open space, the other is more intimate; the private lounge welcomes guests with a sober and refined decor. The large fireplace, center of the ancient domestic hearth, heart of the house, creates a warm and romantic atmosphere. In following the architectural development of the house, the rooms, all located on the upper floor, each show their own characteristics. Spacious and modern, each one has its own bathroom with shower and / or bathtub, air conditioning, a study area and, one of them, a nice sitting area. In the large fenced-in garden that surrounds it there are: a barbecue area, an equipped gazebo, and two above-ground swimming pools equipped with a solarium area and loungers for relaxing in the sun. From the villa a beautiful path is suitable both for trekking and for mountain bike excursions.The villa is located about 2.5 km from the historic center of Fano and its beaches. A seaside town of Roman origin, rich in monuments and works of art, in summer it comes alive with numerous events and shows suitable even for children. The sea offers a wide choice of well-equipped beaches that provide numerous services such as wind-serf, sailing, swimming, babysitting on the beach and much more. You can choose between shallow waters and sandy beaches (very suitable for children) or stony shores. Fano is also provided with a lovely beach for our animal friends.
