Golfhotel Bodensee

Yes No !!! Since we wanted to play the Weißensberg golf course, we decided at short notice to book 2 nights at the attached hotel. After all, the hotel looks really inviting from the outside. Good, the booking was confirmed immediately. Fits. We were told that only 2 rooms were available. No matter - but in fact there were only 6 guests... The check-in was slow and slow, no personal details were taken, the keys were handed over - and the shock began... Long, dark corridors, only poorly lit by a floor lamp. A lonely armchair (from the 70s?). The room: Large, spacious, with a bay window, otherwise spartan furnishings from the 80s of the last century. Mattresses in need of replacement, no air conditioning, blankets that are far too thick, a TV that should ideally be thrown away. The bathroom, also spacious, Formica inventory, shower in the tub. So now it's clear why the chamber only costs €170. Breakfast included. But that's just a bad joke: Here you get things served that used to be served in a bed and breakfast or a youth hostel. In fact, I can't remember the last time I saw a "buffet" like this. However, we would like to praise the young lady who was able to impress people with her natural manner at breakfast in the morning. Refreshing and always friendly. The restaurant: Clear menu, but the quality of the food could be criticized, i.e. can be significantly increased. The Wiener Schnitzel on the first evening was soggy at the bottom, the curry was fine. The Zurich Geschnetzelte was definitely too spicy, the pre-made frozen potato balls were just sticky. Also commendable: the friendly service from the two young gentlemen, who always knew that they had "forgotten something", but it didn't bother them. And one more thing: We were lucky enough to be able to sit on the terrace. The interior of the restaurant, on the other hand, exudes the charm of a GDR hotel from the 70s... Conclusion: We certainly won't be repeat offenders!

We were allowed to be guests at the Golfhotel Weißensberg at the beginning of June as part of a boat christening. The rooms are very spacious, furnished to a high standard and you feel very comfortable there. The view of the golf course from the terrace is wonderful. The house above Lindau is also a very good tip for non-golfers. You are also welcome here with a dog and are greeted warmly by everyone. We'd love to come back!

Verlängertes Golfwochenende gegen Ende Juli 2024. Patrick Schmid: der geborene Gastgeber! Sehr freundlich, interessiert sich für die Gäste, fragt nach, ob alles in Ordnung ist etc. Stefanie Hogelucht: leider fehlt ihr als Geschäftsführerin das notwendige "Gen". Beim Auschecken kam ein knappes "Danke" über ihre Lippen. Kein Nachfragen, ob der Aufenthalt gut war. Was man beim Auschecken halt so fragt. Also eher nicht auf die Gäste "loslassen". Die Zimmer bzw. das ganze Hotel ist dringend renovationsbedürftig. Das Wasser läuft beim Duschen in der Badewanne nicht ab. Keine Ablagefläche, keine Schubladen. Die Teppiche auf den Gängen sowie die Kissen auf den Stühlen sehr verschmutzt. Macht alles einen "schmudeligen" Eindruck. Ist schade für den Golfclub, der darunter leidet, da weniger Hotelgäste buchen und somit auch nicht auf dem wunderschönen Golfplatz spielen.

Wir waren zum Golfspielen in Weissensberg und haben auch im Golfhotel Bodensee logiert und uns auch von der Küche verwöhnen lassen. Der Empfang im Hotel durch Frau Stefanie war schon grossartig. Auch die Flexibilität sowohl bei der Zimmerzuteilung wie auch beim Abendessen genossen wir sehr. Die Zimmer sind sauber und die Austattung einfach aber schön. Es steht bereits der nächste Besuch an. Dieses Hotel kann ich nur bestens empfehlen.
