Happiness Gate Business Hotel

A very good hotel, away from the street and very quiet, very convenient, very close to the beach and Happiness Park, the service is very good, the hygiene is also very good, it is a hotel worth recommending to friends

The room wasn't very large, but it was clean and hygienic. The window overlooked Xingfumen Gate, and across from the Dongcheng Road Night Market, Weigao Plaza was a ten-minute walk away. It was very convenient. There were also shopping malls nearby, as well as the Zhenhua Outlets. Further west was the Xicheng Farmers' Market. The breakfast selection wasn't as extensive as you'd find in a larger hotel, but it offered porridge, noodles, wontons, and other items. Free coffee was available at the front desk. The soundproofing was acceptable; we didn't hear much during our stay. We didn't hear cars outside, and only the occasional chatter from other guests. I don't know if it was because there weren't many people staying there or if the soundproofing was excellent, but overall, we were very satisfied. Cons: 1. We stayed for three nights. The internet signal was strong on the first two nights, but it was intermittent on the last night. The phone and TV signals were intermittent and frequently lagped. 2. The shower water on the second night was hot and cold, which was very annoying.

The service was excellent, always responsive. The room was well-equipped, clean, and comfortable, with a nice, quiet environment. It was very convenient to eat and drink nearby. Across from the hotel is an outlet mall and night market, a popular shopping area for locals. You can enjoy delicious food without worrying about getting ripped off. From the room, you can see the popular Happiness Gate check-in spot. Photos 2 and 3 were taken from the room. The laundry room was also great. 👍🏻 I'd definitely stay here again.

The hotel's location is excellent, across from the night market. A short walk leads to Weigao Plaza, which is also bustling. The hotel is also close to Xingfumen, making it very convenient for commuting. While it's a budget hotel, the price isn't cheap during the summer peak season, at just over 400 yuan per night. Regarding the hotel's operations, I personally feel there's room for improvement: The staff are friendly and greet guests upon entering and leaving the hotel. However, due to the hot weather, a guest asked for two bottles of water at the front desk. While most hotels would generously provide them, the front desk staff lamented that each room is limited to two bottles per day and no more. While two bottles of water might be a minor issue, it detracts from the service. After all, the room rate isn't cheap, is it? I hope this can be improved.

The hotel is a single-family building, newly renovated, and the service is very good. There is a small night market opposite the hotel, and it is not far from the Oulefang Night Market. The only drawback is that there are not many parking spaces at the hotel, but it does not affect much. The security guard at the door will help you find parking.

This hotel is incredibly cost-effective. The location is convenient, across from the Zhenhua Outlets supermarket and the Dongcheng Road Night Market, and facing Shichang Avenue. I expected it to be noisy, but sleeping with the windows open was completely unaffected. There are ice water and coffee machines in the lobby, the room was clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom and shower were well-designed with separate wet and dry areas. Free breakfast is also provided. This was my most satisfying hotel on this trip to Weihai.
