Wichita Hotels with Wi-Fi

Very convenient being right next to the interstate to go anywhere within 10 minutes. It was nice having a fridge and a microwave in the room as well to heat up leftovers from lunch and dinner time. All in all it was a pretty decent stay.

All aspects are very good, the price is not bad. The room at the Midi Hotel is large and comfortable. However, travel is not very convenient and requires a car.

This was by far the nicest pet-friendly place we found in our driving trip across the country. Super comfy beds, furniture that was both pet-friendly and nice, and room was sparkly clean! It was so helpful to have a kitchenette and large fridge. Anna(?) was professional and helpful with checking in. Great area for dogs. Extra touches like a little swag bag for our pup.

I almost didn’t stay here based on the reviews, I’m glad I did stay here. Free parking is available in a city lot about a block away, or pay to park at hotel. I’d say equal in terms of security. Once again my mobile key didn’t work, but the front desk staff was friendly and took care of it. Keep in mind at this time other than their pantry there is no F&B service at this property. I had a huge king room. It overlooked the street the hotel is on, a busy street that runs through Old Town. The room was quiet and comfortable. In terms of Covid clean, this was a Courtyard PUR Clean room that would have benefited by some wipes being left for the remote etc.

During my recent stay at the Hyatt, I had an unfortunate experience where I felt unfairly judged based on my appearance. As a military service member on leave, I was traveling from Colorado Springs and chose Hyatt due to its strong reputation for supporting military personnel. After a long drive, I was eager for a comfortable stay and expected the level of respect and service that the brand is known for. However, upon arrival, I was met with unprofessional treatment. When I inquired about a military discount, I was questioned in a manner that made me feel as if my active-duty status was in doubt. Furthermore, I was treated dismissively, as if my appearance somehow indicated that I couldn’t afford a suite. Only after agreeing to the price was I treated with the level of courtesy I should have received from the start. Customer satisfaction and room quality also fell short of the expectations I had for the price charged. Unfortunately, my experience was a clear reminder that appearances can influence the way guests are treated. I expected better from a brand that prides itself on professionalism, especially toward service members.

We have stayed here several times, and always receive friendly service. The queen room was smaller than the rooms we’ve stayed in with a king or 2 queens, but we don’t need that much room. It took us a little while to figure out how to switch from air to heat. I like that they have bottles for hand soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The bar area is nice with happy hour specials. The chicken wings and cheese cake were good. When we left the parking garage & submitted our validated ticket, it was rejected, but this was quickly resolved.

I was recently at a training course in Wichita for around 21 days, which required an extended-stay location. The reviews for the Residence Inn by Marriott looked good, so we booked it. The room and bathroom were clean, the bed comfortable, plenty of pillows the fireplace always on in the lobby, and the cookies warm nearly every evening! But what makes this place is the TEAM!!! The front counter team was courteous above and beyond, Richard took personal pride in having an awesome breakfast ready every morning (fresh fruits, eggs, bacon, waffles, periodically croissant sandwiches and other specialty items. I travel a lot and in many places, the staff are just that, staff who are just ”showing up” for work. Not here, it seemed that they took a special interest in how we were doing and wanted to make our stay special. Rebekah was always looking out for us, ensuring that we had a room when our stay was unexpectedly extended. We will be returning to Wichita periodically for recurrent training and there is no doubt as to where we will be booking - Residence Inn by Marriott - Wichita East! This hotel concept is a little odd but is the same from property to property. No closet. No pool. Minimal breakfast offerings. This location was nice - close to restaurants, safe, fun. Great to stay if your kids are doing a tournament nearby. There are pods for working in lobby. I mostly appreciated the staff, who were nice to everyone and each other, especially the breakfast host and front desk. It’s refreshing that they seemed to have enough staff, cleaning people, etc. nice stay.
