Prior to checkin, the host kept us posted with useful information. The self checkin and checkout was convenient. The service was excellent and staff were very friendly and helpful. The room is large and tidy, with choices for breakfast.

Location: About 10 minutes walk from Windermere Railway Station. It's downhill on the way there and uphill on the way back. It's quite close.
The accommodation is self-service, with access control, no elevator, you need to carry your own luggage, up to the third floor
The room is quite big, the hygiene is OK, the hot water is a little slow, and the room has heating
The hotel breakfast (8:30-9:30) is pretty good, with a variety of choices. You can fill it out one day in advance and put it on the table at the entrance.
On our last day, we needed to catch the bus early, so we asked the hotel staff to prepare breakfast for us on the way. The service attitude was very good.

The small house is in a good location, on the edge of the core area of Windermere town, and a 20-minute walk from the lake. Free parking is also a good comment, but there is no elevator, only stairs, which are narrow and steep, and there are only a few options for breakfast.
