"The location is convenient, but the hotel is very run-down! There are so many Indian guests! The facilities are ancient, like something out of a bygone era. The sink's hot and cold water taps are separate, so you can't adjust the temperature – it's really annoying to have to cup cold water with your hands, then add hot water to get a lukewarm mix for brushing your teeth! The room is cramped, and it's super noisy outside the window. Breakfast is terrible, and the service attitude is poor! I won't be coming back! It's not worth the price!"

"I accidentally spilled a 400ml bottle of milk. Most of it got on our unopened suitcase, and some of it leaked onto the carpet in the room. I immediately grabbed a towel from the room and laid it on the floor to soak up the liquid. A few days after checking out, I was shocked to discover that the hotel had charged us £250 without any prior email or notification explaining the reason. After contacting Ctrip, I was told that there were urine stains on the carpet in our room, requiring deep cleaning, which is why they deducted £250. I swear it was only milk that spilled! How could we possibly have urinated on the room's carpet? Plus, I had already laid down a towel to absorb the liquid right away. Furthermore, under no circumstances should a hotel directly charge £250 without first explaining the reason or asking for our side of the story. I completely disagree with this charge and will continue to file complaints. I definitely recommend it to everyone; the room is well-maintained and clean, and the furniture, décor, and bathroom fixtures are all in excellent condition. It is located right next to the lake and the boat cruise center, with plenty of restaurants and pubs nearby. The room is spacious and has everything needed for a stay—the two days there flew by far too quickly. 🙂"
