I am incredibly impressed with this gorgeous B and B. After ending up travelling alone, the owners could not have been more helpful and friendly- even looking at ways to get to the hotel in the most efficient way. The room was beautiful and spotless and the breakfast was incredible! The location was perfectly central, and I was really touched that the owners were even offering to print out route maps to help make my solo travel more enjoyable. Without a shadow of a doubt, when I return to Windermere, I will stay here. Many thanks for making my trip so enjoyable and easy.

Accommodating and friendly we felt very welcome. Rooms were well furnished and met all our needs (aside from a less than reliable internet connection- for tv not phones/iPad). Pool a particular benefit for the benefit of the baby and being able to use it to ourselves a nice bonus. Breakfast a pleasant surprise- our first in an exclusively vegetarian establishment. Hot, fresh and quick. Only downside is the parking. Being there on a busy weekend meant moving or reparking on 3 occasions. I appreciate the difficulty for the owners but it is an incumberance when plans can be difficult to fix on a weekend away. Overall, didn’t limit our enjoyment or stay. Many thanks

Upon Arrival we were shown to our Room by Kate the owner and it was a Lovely Bright room with all needed for a Pleasant Stay Even Bought us Homemade Carrot Cake and fresh Milk , The Swimming Pool is Superb and With Covid Restrictions Meant we had it to Ourselves Nice and warm , Then Breakfast is Freshly Cooked with a choice of Hot , I opted for Poached Eggs which were Very Good and a great Choice of Other Breakfast Foods . The Owners Can't do enough For you with any Little Snag soon Sorted , All In All A Great Choice of a Place to stay *****

Had a fabulous weekend at South View, lovely comfortable room with spacious en suite and multi jet shower! We really enjoyed the luxury of having access to the lovely pool which you book out so you get it all to yourselves. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great location with private parking. A real gem in Windermere, would definitely return - thank you

We have just spent a weekend at South View and had an excellent experience. Superb location close to all shops and bars. Superb hosts and really enjoyed the indoor swimming pool. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. It was the hosts last weekend of running the B & b and what a shame we hadn't found this place sooner. great value for money. Good luck with your new adventure ...
