Wirral (Heswall)

Been staying here 12mths every month whilst on a course. Always clean, comfy bed. Breakfast is relaxed and greeted with a smile. Lovely team who go over and above. Well located for walking into Heswall and off the motorway. Would highly recommend. Thank you so much

Stayed here a few times before, with no problems. It was handy for what I wanted as a location, however I was let down this time. Car Park is now controlled by Horizon parking, so you have register on a touch screen to qualify for free parking. Welcome wasn’t. Room was immediately behind dining room/pub, which faces onto a busy roundabout, so consequently road noise was constant. Above the pub was a floodlight which for some reason was pointing at my window and constantly on! Despite Lenny Henry saying how relaxing the beds are, it was the most uncomfortable sleep I have ever had. Room was OK cleanliness wise, but the bathroom left a bit to be desired. Toilet pan was cracked and the soap dispenser had something below undesirable crud beneath the plunger. Wi-Fi was hit and miss. Cannot comment on the food as I used offsite dining. A bit much as I paid North of £170 for 2 nights. Probably use an Air BnB or similar next time.

The good points first. The bed is very comfortable, as they are at all Premier Inn hotels. The location is good with some nice pubs and restaurants close by. The car park is huge with plenty of good spaces. Bad points. The hotel is desperate for a refresh, it's very shabby now. I'll be kind and say the reception staff were unfriendly. The room was dark on a sunny day and had a damp smell, the bathroom was shabby too. Simply not worth £160 for the night, 3 stars given but it's borderline 2 stars.

We spent 1 night here, all good! Conveniently placed for our visit to the area. We normally use Travelodge but this establishment is a very convenient second! Will probably stay here again! 🙂 Only downsides, no toilet brush and my wife complained that the bed too high! (She’s only like 5’2” 🤣)

I have stayed in this hotel several times for business. The staff are friendly, professional and helpful. I would like to personally thank Andrew in the restaurant who went above and beyond under challenging/busy circumstances. The hotel is well presented, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the food is good. I would highly recommend.

Room smelt of damp and a bit tired, Beefeater poor better pub across the road. Better food, ambience and wonderful staff . Plenty of car parking but no lift. Use the pub over the road so much better than the offering on site. Roadworks outside .
