I love this pet friendly hotel! They are all very kind. The rooms are spacious. The breakfast buffet was good but I wish it had more vegan friendly items like tofu. There is a shop nearby to buy items. The room has a kitchenette. I was able to cook. There was also area to walk my dog. The best perk is the Starbucks that is so close by! My dog loved sleeping on the couch and the bed. Housekeeping did a great job. This is a great place to stay in Wuxi.

Modena hotel is a great hotel for short business trips. Soft, clean beds. Clean shower with endless hot water and both a spray and rainfall shower heads. Located next to a Papa John’s and Starbucks. Also next to the Wuxi ecological park for nice walks. Breakfast was ok, but did enough. For the price of the hotel, it was a great stay..

At the check-in counter, a foreigner behind me cut in line to get ahead of me. There were several staff members at the counter, but only one could process check-ins. It seemed like they prioritized whoever was the most temperamental and bullied whoever was the most agreeable.

The room was extremely poorly soundproofed, severely disrupting my sleep. I could clearly hear the door next door opening and closing, and there was low-frequency noise from the elevator. The worst part was the bathroom; it wasn't soundproofed at all, and the upstairs neighbor flushed the toilet four times during the night, waking me up each time. The dust on the hairdryer bag showed just how dirty the room was. The breakfast was terrible too; the orange juice was just diluted orange juice with pulp—I've never seen a hotel use diluted orange juice with pulp before. The cutting board and knife used for cutting fruit weren't clean either, and it smelled like cantaloupe. I hope this is a bad experience for everyone.
