Ibis Hotels in Xi'an

I found the hotel stay quite comfortable. The location to the local shops and metro was very convenient. All essentials and room were serviced daily. The daily breakfast, which i bought separately was of a high standard. The only negatives are there was no in room WiFi as stated in the amenities (this was provided by my previous hotel in Beijing in checkin). The other inconvenience is having to carry my heavy luggage up 20 steps from the Bell Tower metro station exit to reach the hotel entrance. As the hotel entrance is not directly in front of a driver pickup zone, I had to arrange for tour pickups from West street.

Hotel is 15 walk from the metro. It is easy to find. Employees are very nice. The employee was nice to allow me to check in early. I really appreciate it. They tried to help me as much as possible. The room is extremely clean. One thing I didn’t not like is the smoke smell of the hallway.

Great location as it’s super close to the muslim street. A bit far from the metro though. Receptionist is super helpful and friendly. If you order food delivery, there’s even a robot that brings the food to your room. Overall, great cleanliness and spacious-ness as well! They also provide two pillow hardness depending on your preference

There are a few Ibis in Xian. I choose Ibis Daminggong due to impressive reviews and our stay was truly enjoyable. The customer service at Ibis Daminggong is truly exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to ensure their customer’s stay was comfortable and enjoyable. There was once we were late to pick up our washed laundry and the staff even helped us fold our clothes! Ibis Daminggong breakfast offers a wide array of delicious food, such as milk, coffee, fruits, desserts, cold dish, hot dish and even ShaanXi Chinese Hamburger. We enjoyed the breakfast so much! We have stayed in Ibis China, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and this is the best Ibis we have stayed in so far! We truly enjoyed our stay in Ibis Daminggong. Will definitely stay in Ibis Daminggong if come to Xi’an again.

The room is big but no soundproof, trolley and machines/elevator run all night. I got room#8602 with window but it's just another unused space with another door to pathway, feel uncomfortable/unsafe. Smoke smell from neighbor room can get through room easier. Room floor need to be more clean, toilet floor is so slippery. Reception can't speak English but has good service to try communication.

It was my first time staying at Ibis. I didn't expect that a room that costs less than 200 yuan per night would have such a good window view. The street outside the window is full of tall sycamore trees. Sitting by the window and watching the sunset, the Maillard color is very beautiful (see the picture, taken by the window of the room)... There is no small refrigerator in the room. I gave the bagged Chinese medicine I brought to the front desk girl to put it in the refrigerator at the front desk. The front desk service attitude is super good. I was worried that the room would be noisy because it faces the street, but I didn't expect it to be so quiet. My baby and I went to bed before 10:30 and slept well all night. I immediately signed up for Huazhu Club and plan to stay at Ibis again next time I travel.

The facilities were good, staff were generally helpful and nice. Very clean environment; generally has what you need. Very conveniently located. Some of the staff at the front desk are a bit too immature and could act a bit more professional. Apparently, they find it funny for you ask them for water; ask them a few more times and they would giggle and laugh behind your back and make fun of you; they might even horse around with you if Mandarin is not your first language and you don't speak as natively as they do. I made an add on booking for an extra night. If you need them to do anything towards the end of your stay, they might withhold service at the front desk until you give them a perfect rating; they wouldn't check me back in the hotel until I left a good rating/comment for my first booking. They forgot I that I could also rate / comment for my second booking. Basically a bunch of kids. Otherwise, hotel management seems fine. Pretty clean, the staff were generally polite.

It is very warm when entering the hotel lobby, the business area is huge, there is a free laundry room, the front desk service is very good, and the security guard is also very good. He took the initiative to ask for help with my luggage and direct parking. The room facilities are very new, the overall feeling is very good, and I will choose it in the future.

The hotel service is warm and professional. The room is clean and tidy. The stay is very comfortable. It is very close to the central area. It is very convenient to drive or take a taxi. It is not easy to have a parking space in the old city.

I booked a hotel in order to take the IELTS exam at the nearby Xi'an Jiaotong University. The hotel environment is not bad, and the breakfast is also quite rich. It is worth mentioning that the attitude of the guy at the front desk is really very good and very thoughtful. The other girl is also very considerate. Late that day, I suddenly realized that I forgot to bring my admission ticket for the next morning and was very anxious. I asked the girl at the front desk, and she was very happy to print a copy for me. Thank you very much! The stay experience is very good~
