"Are the positive reviews all fake?!!! Pros: The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. Cons: The room was old and smelled terrible, and so did the bathroom. Every room allows smoking, and they all reeked of smoke. I had to switch rooms several times, and they all still smelled. The air conditioning was incredibly loud, and breakfast was a scam – just a noodle stall and a few buns. The soundproofing in the rooms was poor; I could hear the KTV downstairs singing."

"This was our first trip to Xishui County. The weather was cool, around 30°C. We booked the Xishui Hotel, the best five-star hotel in the area, through Ctrip, and it truly lived up to its reputation! The hotel's facilities and services were excellent! They provided complimentary fruit daily, and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious, featuring both Chinese and Western dishes. The service was warm, attentive, and meticulous, including sterilized plastic and cloth slippers, as well as disposable toilet seats. What particularly pleased us, the elderly couple, was the hotel's lakeside garden; an evening stroll along the lake was incredibly pleasant. Our two-day stay at the Xishui Hotel was truly memorable, and we give them a thumbs up!"
