Hotels Near Dongguan Street in Yangzhou

The homestay is in the alley near Dongguan Street, very close to Dongguan Street, Pishi Street and Canal. The room is not big, but the facilities are very new and complete, mainly and most important, very quiet, really too friendly for people like me who don't sleep well. The yard that comes with the homestay is also very comfortable, there is a small pool, there are a few koi inside. In terms of parking, there is no parking space. Parking in the ancient city of Yangzhou is not very convenient. It is strongly recommended to find a parking space on the roadside or in the shopping mall nearby and then come to check in.

This hotel is located in Dongguan Street just a short 2 minute walk from the taxi drop off. The staff gave us a warm welcome and told us we had our room upgraded which was a lovely surprise. The room was spaceous and spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed and large screen TV. The under floor heating system was very good in the evenings as the temperature dropped. The bathroom itself was also very well appointed with a good size bath tub as well as a rain shower and plenty of hot water available at all times. The staff were lovely throughout the whole complex and always greeted us with a smile. Breakfast was plentiful and had many local varieties of food available. There is also a coffee shop on site which makes great quality flat white! I can highly recommend staying at this hotel as it is literally in Dongguan street and also just across the road from Pishi street. As a western guest I felt very comfortable at this hotel and would definitely visit again.

Stayed at Mo Ke Hao Ting, the boss was very welcoming. He called to pick us up at the station because he was afraid we couldn't find it that day. He made us feel the first warmth in Yangzhou. He also introduced us the route to the scenic spots and the hotel where we ate. The inn has a great location. It is just on Dongguan Street, just a few steps away. You can walk as you like. You can go to Pi Shi Street, Ge Garden, He Garden and Slender West Lake on foot, especially Ge Garden, which is a few minutes away. There is a breakfast shop at the door, which is convenient

The hotel is located in Pishi Street, with convenient transportation, its own parking lot, and convenient parking during the Spring Festival! The suite we stayed in was booked half a month in advance and the price was right! The hotel is newly opened, the room is very clean, the facilities are very new, the bathroom has alcohol wipes, and the bedding is comfortable and clean! Room facilities are also very smart! ! The front desk is warm and thoughtful, hot tea is provided for free! There are children's slippers and toothbrushes! There are porridge and buns in the evening, side dishes are provided, very warm heart! Family satisfaction! ! Like 👍👍👍👍

I like this inn very much. It used to be the residence of General Changle. It is antique. It is located on Dongguan Street and you can visit it anytime. The Ge Garden is opposite the hotel lobby. Except for the careless guests who pass by in the morning and talk loudly without sound insulation, each room is still very quiet. The room is very clean. The waiter cleans the room every day and delivers anything that is needed very quickly. The morning tea and peony garden are located in the inn, so it is very convenient to queue up for an appointment to have tea and listen to a little music. The downside is that the wifi in the room is too bad. It is very tiring to pull the luggage on the winding gravel road. Excluding these, it is still a highly recommended inn.

I have lived in so many homestays, and this service really impressed me. From the patient communication at the time of booking, to the intimate welcome at the time of check-in, to the warm heart farewell when leaving, every link has been achieved. The room facilities are high-end and complete, smart equipment is all available, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the night is good. The natural environment around the homestay is also very beautiful, strolling in it, as if you are in a paradise. Here, I enjoyed the high-end and warm accommodation experience, full praise!

The hotel is situated in a great location, right next to the famous Dong Guang Road. It is also next to the Marco Polo museum and near the Marco Polo statue. From the hotel it is very easy to get to all the attractions such as the slender west lake which is a must do in Yangzhou. The hotel staff are absolutely fantastic and we were upgraded to a loft suite. They made us feel so welcome and we felt like we were at home. A big thanks to miss Shi Yanyan, Lu Wei and Mr Dong for looking after us and making our trip special. This hotel provided us with exceptional customer service and we highly recommend it. The loft suite was beautiful with a wonderful river view. The room was very clean, cosy and had great amenities. The loft suite has two bathrooms/ shower rooms, two TVs (one in the living area and one in the bedroom) and Dyson hairdryer. When we checked out they gave us a very special gift of local sweets. They really are a fantastic team.

Cuiyuan, Yiyuan, and Xiyuan are all fully booked, and Biyuan is still available. Considering that it is just next to Dongguan Street, and the parking lot is huge, I booked their place, and I was not disappointed. I just slept for one night. yes. The parking space is free for hotel guests, and there are special personnel on duty at the intersection. It is also very serious to refuse non-resident guests. The parking space there is very tight, and it is a plus to be able to park without worry. The waiters are very enthusiastic and have a good attitude. There are also 2 cups of Yangda yogurt as a gift, which has a spring-limited cherry blossom flavor. The room looks quite new, twin room, the bed is also 1.35 wide. The room was kept clean. It's just that the bathroom is separated from the bedroom. There is a wall missing from the bedroom. The privacy is not good enough, and the sewer has an unpleasant smell. It will be better after a while. The hotel does not provide free breakfast, but there is Biyuan Restaurant on the first floor, which can provide morning tea. The location is superior. The opposite station can take the bus to Slender West Lake. The archway of Dongguan Ancient Ferry and the wharf for canal tour are also there. It takes 3 minutes to walk to the gate tower of Dongguan Street and 5 minutes to Jinyuan. It is basically unnecessary to check in from Shanghai. Drive the car into the old town.

The location is at the intersection of Wenchang Middle Road and Guoqing Road, about 300 meters from Dongguan Street, Caiyi Street, and more than 600 meters from Pishi Street. There is a parking lot in front of the hotel. It is a public parking lot and cannot accommodate many cars. Therefore, it is recommended to park in and don't move. Parking in Yangzhou Old Town is also difficult. Taking a taxi or a shared electric car is enough. Ruixing has a restaurant downstairs in the hotel, and there is an ancient tea shop just a short walk away (the resentment of Shanghai people). I booked a room with a balcony. The advantage is that the room is very big and not as cramped as a fast hotel. Even if you don’t want to go anywhere and just lie in the hotel, you won’t feel aggrieved. It’s not a big problem for a family of three. You can also go to the balcony. Look at the main road downstairs. The bathroom is not big, but it is completely adequate. It even comes with a magnifying mirror, you can believe it. The disadvantage is that it is a bit noisy. I was unlucky on the day I stayed. Road construction started at 12 o'clock in the middle of the night. It was loud and took about 2 hours. However, the road was repaired the next morning and it did not affect traffic. I feel that the price of less than 300 (without breakfast) is completely affordable.

Location is the big plus.  Within the compound there's hot spring baths, historical sites, multiple restaurants (some needing 2 weeks advance reservation).  The only downside, which can't usually be avoided in China's locally managed hotels, is that the habits of people using rest rooms / importance of toilet paper refill is different from what some foreigners are used to. Still, overall I'll give it 4.6 stars given the variety and historical significance of some of the sites within the compound.
