"I specifically sought out the century-old 'Jiyuan Hostel,' a Republic of China-era residence, and my stay far exceeded expectations! The location is superb, tucked away in an old town alley, offering a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle. It's just a few minutes' walk to Dongguan Street and Caiyi Street, and very close to Fuchun Teahouse for morning tea and Ge Garden, making getting around incredibly convenient. The courtyard is charmingly antique, with wooden corridors and a blue-brick courtyard creating a wonderful ambiance. It's beautifully restored to its original glory, with picturesque views everywhere. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding comfortable, and the bathroom facilities complete. The soundproofing was good, making for a very quiet night. The front desk service was gentle and attentive. They were knowledgeable about local activities and proactively recommended sightseeing routes. It's a rare opportunity to stay in such a historic old building and experience the authentic charm of old Yangzhou. Next time I visit Yangzhou, this will still be my first choice. Highly recommended!"

"I chose this place during the off-season in Yangzhou. The courtyard has a lovely vibe, and I managed to snap some photos when the cars had moved. Even though it's in the old town, the decor is quite new and it's very clean. The transportation is super convenient; if you're good on your feet, you can pretty much walk to most attractions. Just head north from the hotel, stroll along the Xiao Qin淮 River, take some pictures, and you'll reach Caiyi Street and other spots. Public transport is excellent, connecting you to the train station, various shopping streets, Slender West Lake, and more. There are also plenty of shared e-bikes, and taxis are cheap in this small city. Within 100 meters, there are great restaurants (you'll have to queue if you go late) and dim sum places. Honestly, it's really good."

"The Kempinski Hotel, being a German brand, lives up to its reputation with excellent quality control, service standards, and superior facilities, easily making it the top hotel in Yangzhou. It's brand new and incredibly well-equipped with advanced amenities. The service at the hotel is truly exceptional. A big thank you to Freya, Lucia, and Chria for their attentive and kind service. In particular, the duty manager Chria accompanied me from the moment I stepped out of the car, helping with my luggage and check-in, all the way to my room. His attitude was excellent, and our conversation was very pleasant. After I agreed, he also provided a thoughtful introduction to the hotel, which was fantastic. The rooms feature integrated whole-house lighting control and automatic curtain panels. The bathrooms are equipped with high-end Dyson hairdryers and top-tier German Villeroy & Boch sanitary ware, including a remote-controlled smart Villeroy & Boch toilet. The toiletries are from the luxury Spanish brand Natura Bissé. The complimentary mini-bar offers a variety of teas, coffees, and local mineral water. The hardware is virtually flawless. Every evening at 7:30 PM, there's a stunning and impressive fountain light show on the central artificial lake. The hotel's decor also deeply incorporates local Yangzhou cultural elements. The breakfast offers a diverse and exquisite selection. I hope the breakfast service could be a bit more personalized, perhaps allowing guests to order drinks and have them delivered to their table, and for the chefs to be a little more enthusiastic. Overall, this hotel is truly outstanding, with a service attitude that even surpasses many Ritz-Carltons. I am extremely satisfied and had a very pleasant experience."

"I think the Sansheng Hilton offers great value for money, and the service is excellent. I even forgot some clothes, and they contacted me to have them couriered to my home. Before arriving, I called ahead to confirm everything. I ordered one breakfast, and my child, who ate it, said it was very good. The location is very convenient, with many dining options nearby, and taking a taxi out every day wasn't expensive. The pool water was also quite clean. I highly recommend it if you're coming in the off-season, as the prices are very reasonable. Yangzhou has been very hot these past few days, but the hotel's air conditioning worked really well, making it very comfortable."
