Romantic Hotels in Yangzhou

An excellent hotel! Great location, tucked away in a quiet spot near Dongguan Street. The environment is fantastic, with a beautiful garden-style courtyard that feels like an old mansion. The service is top-notch, and the butler was incredibly warm and attentive. There are many attractions nearby, including Xiao Qin Huai River, Ge Garden, the former residence of ***, Siwang Pavilion, and the famous Yechun restaurant. You can easily rent an electric scooter to visit Slender West Lake and Daming Temple. Yangzhou is a historic city that slowly reveals its charm, leaving a lasting impression. My stay at the Late Qing Dynasty Zhenyuan truly allowed me to experience the understated beauty and profound historical character of this ancient city.

The hotel is located right by the canal, which has scenic belts and parks on both sides (I noticed the hotel was on the boat tour route when I took a cruise at night). If you're not in a rush, it's lovely to take a stroll along the riverside. From the hotel, cross a bridge and walk straight ahead to He Garden, then further on to Pishi Street. Beyond Pishi Street are the Dongguan Ferry Terminal and Dongguan Street. In short, it's incredibly convenient to reach all these attractions on foot. Though it's called a hotel, it feels more like a B&B. It's a charming three-story building, very clean and well-maintained. The owner has excellent taste and puts a lot of thought into everything. Both the owner and staff are exceptionally friendly, always greeting guests and proactively asking if anything is needed, without being overbearing. Complimentary tea, drinks, and fruit are provided, all of high quality and in ample supply. The service is truly impeccable. The room was meticulously cleaned, and all the bathroom amenities were quite high-end. They even thoughtfully provided a complimentary set of brand-name facial wash, skincare products, and body lotion. There was also a generous supply of toilet paper. It’s been a long time since I stayed in such a comfortable and reassuring place; it truly exceeded my expectations. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Yangzhou. This hotel is perfect for family trips. The splash pad and beach were so much fun, we played for two days straight and didn't get bored. The indoor play area (Taoqi Bao) isn't huge, but it's just right for toddlers around two years old. My child loved the 'pet wake-up service' in the morning, and being able to feed them fruit – just remember to book in advance! The private hot spring in the room was very relaxing. The public hot spring water was a bit cloudy, so we opted for the private one both days. Plus, the dim sum at Quyuanxiangyuan nearby was delicious! 😋

The hotel service was polite and thoughtful, check-in was efficient, and the room was clean and tidy. The first round of the mini-bar was complimentary, and turndown service included a free drink with a strong local Yangzhou flavor. However, there were two minor drawbacks: First, the pillows weren't very comfortable; they lacked support, leading to a stiff neck after a while, and even swapping them out didn't help much. Second, the TV signal in the room was unstable, occasionally buffering and affecting the viewing experience a bit. Overall, the positives far outweigh the negatives. The Ying賓館 is still a highly recommended hotel when visiting Yangzhou, with its beautiful garden environment and excellent location. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Yangzhou.

Fantastic location, just a ten-minute walk from Slender West Lake, and directly across from MixC shopping mall. There are many other malls nearby, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. It's also easy to get to all the major attractions. The hotel facilities are excellent, and the service is superb – they're always ready to help. Great value for money; I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Yangzhou.

Traveling to Yangzhou with my family, I chose this hotel right by the Grand Canal, and it was an excellent experience. The location is impeccable; we were able to visit He Garden in no time. The hotel's cleanliness standards truly deserve praise – as soon as you walk in, it feels fresh and clean, with no strange odors. The soundproofing in the room was good, allowing us to fall asleep to the tranquil sounds of the canal at night, maximizing comfort. It was a very satisfying stay!

The hotel is conveniently located near Dongguan Street, right next to Ge Garden, making it easy to access transport and local amenities. The rooms are housed in a two-story wooden building, encircling a charming courtyard with a miniature rock garden. While the rooms themselves are clean, the bathroom is a bit on the small side. The service was incredibly thoughtful; staff even helped us with laundry. The owner was exceptionally hospitable and warm; he not only used an electric cart to assist with our luggage but also gave us a ride to a nearby place for a local morning tea. We noticed the diamond-patterned door didn't block out much light, but when we mentioned it to the owner, he immediately took care of it. He also generously shared recommendations for many authentic Yangzhou restaurants favored by locals, helping us avoid any tourist traps.

The place is beautiful. The rooms/cottages of the hotel are spread around a nice area. There is a vegetable garden and kids could feed the goats and rabbit. My kids loved the hotel and the room. Front desk gave us kids slippers and toothbrushes and a bag full of treats and snacks for the kids. Beds were very comfortable and the family room was beautiful with a balcony looking to the canal. Black swans swimming in there. The private outside hot bathtub was cool. They gave us some activity tickets (kids cookies baking, two free coffee cups and free entrance to the park beside), sadly we couldn’t use them, because we came noon and went to visit a different area , then left the next day after breakfast. The outside hotel surroundings are nice and peaceful. The food was great! Breakfast buffet is delicious. I would recommend it. There was a staff speaking English, but was not necessary for us. The service is very good and friendly…I’ll return.

The service is very good and enthusiastic. The room is a bit small. The ventilation of the bathroom is not very good. The window is too high and can't be closed. It's cold and windy. The layout of the room is a bit unreasonable. It's relatively clean and sanitary.

The valet parking service was quite good. The location is convenient for getting to several famous attractions by taxi. However, the front desk service was not proactive. I was exhausted after driving off the highway and spent 30-40 minutes trying to book on Marriott Bonvoy without success. No one offered any guidance or help. The next day, with rain in the forecast, I wanted to borrow an umbrella, but the front desk manager insisted I pay a deposit! The service attitude felt quite rigid. The air conditioning wasn't very effective; I felt hot under the duvet at night. The soundproofing in the room was poor; I could hear people in the next room as if they were in mine. Overall, the room's cleanliness was good, and I plugged in an electronic mosquito repellent, but I still got two very itchy insect bites on my arm. I went to breakfast right when it opened, but the food was a bit cold and the taste was very mediocre; there wasn't a single good dish. The fried rice was particularly disappointing, and the pink pastry had a tough crust and a filling that tasted like processed ingredients. The Wi-Fi wouldn't connect, and the toothbrush head was too wide to use comfortably.
