CytcaibushidoubineCame to Yangzhou for the Dragon Boat Festival with friends, and after comparing many hotels, we finally decided on Zhenyuan Hotel because of its two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a mahjong table. On the day of check-in, the front desk lady called ahead to confirm our itinerary. Since it was raining, she even brought an umbrella to escort us to our room and helped us check in there. They provided welcome fruits, drinks, and Yangzhou University yogurt, and thoughtfully replenished them the next day after we finished them. The hotel itself is converted from a salt merchant's private residence, so the courtyard and corridors offer beautiful scenery. At check-out, they even gave each of us a hotel fridge magnet. Highly recommend!

Guest UserThe hotel is located right by the canal, which has scenic belts and parks on both sides (I noticed the hotel was on the boat tour route when I took a cruise at night). If you're not in a rush, it's lovely to take a stroll along the riverside. From the hotel, cross a bridge and walk straight ahead to He Garden, then further on to Pishi Street. Beyond Pishi Street are the Dongguan Ferry Terminal and Dongguan Street. In short, it's incredibly convenient to reach all these attractions on foot.
Though it's called a hotel, it feels more like a B&B. It's a charming three-story building, very clean and well-maintained. The owner has excellent taste and puts a lot of thought into everything. Both the owner and staff are exceptionally friendly, always greeting guests and proactively asking if anything is needed, without being overbearing. Complimentary tea, drinks, and fruit are provided, all of high quality and in ample supply. The service is truly impeccable.
The room was meticulously cleaned, and all the bathroom amenities were quite high-end. They even thoughtfully provided a complimentary set of brand-name facial wash, skincare products, and body lotion. There was also a generous supply of toilet paper.
It’s been a long time since I stayed in such a comfortable and reassuring place; it truly exceeded my expectations. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Yangzhou. I didn't take many photos, just one of the fragrant flowers in the lobby. I've included two photos of He Garden just to add a few more.

KelaierThe Hongqiaofang Hotel is part of the Yangzhou Xiyuan Hotel, but its facilities are quite average. Paying 2000 a night during a holiday is definitely not worth the price. You should book Building 18 in advance, it's only three years old. For the Quyuan morning tea, you have to line up by 6 AM, otherwise, you won't get a spot until noon. It's really better not to travel during holidays. The advantage of staying at the Xiyuan Hotel is its proximity to Slender West Lake and all the food options nearby. The environment is absolutely stunning. The beautiful scenery of Liuting under the rain gives off a charming Jiangnan misty rain vibe. It's perfect for a vacation. You should come when it's less crowded to fully enjoy the tranquility. Building 11 is older, and the hygiene is really just so-so. I even found an uncleaned razor.

Fantastic location, just a ten-minute walk from Slender West Lake, and directly across from MixC shopping mall. There are many other malls nearby, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. It's also easy to get to all the major attractions. The hotel facilities are excellent, and the service is superb – they're always ready to help. Great value for money; I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Yangzhou.

ManamaoThe hotel is conveniently located near Dongguan Street, right next to Ge Garden, making it easy to access transport and local amenities. The rooms are housed in a two-story wooden building, encircling a charming courtyard with a miniature rock garden. While the rooms themselves are clean, the bathroom is a bit on the small side. The service was incredibly thoughtful; staff even helped us with laundry. The owner was exceptionally hospitable and warm; he not only used an electric cart to assist with our luggage but also gave us a ride to a nearby place for a local morning tea. We noticed the diamond-patterned door didn't block out much light, but when we mentioned it to the owner, he immediately took care of it. He also generously shared recommendations for many authentic Yangzhou restaurants favored by locals, helping us avoid any tourist traps.

Guest UserReally push this hotel ✨
The family room with parents to travel, after checking out, parents have been boasting that this hotel is well booked, the ladies are so warm and thoughtful.
The location is really amazing, you can walk to Heyuan in 5 minutes, and it is super convenient to eat and punch in! Morning tea, lunch and dinner, all the local specialty restaurants I want to go to are around, and you don’t have to travel for food.
The hotel is close to the canal and the overall environment is full. The details of the check-in experience are full. The housekeeper will confirm the arrival time in advance, whether to drive by himself, open the window in advance for ventilation, and open the air conditioner. As soon as I entered the room, it was full of coolness and no stuffy smell at all.
The fruit prepared in the room is fresh and sweet, and the hotel also provides ice water. Going out in the middle of summer, the housekeeper will ask if you want to prepare water, the details are particularly in place, and the stay is comfortable and worry-free.
It's right to set this store

JiaoluodedunjueLet's start with the downsides: Since the family room can accommodate three adults, there should be three sets of towels, bath towels, tooth mugs, drinking glasses, and coffee cups, not just two. Even children or teenagers need their own bath towel and tooth mug. Also, the curtain button was sometimes a bit unresponsive.
Now for the positives:
1. The location is excellent, making it convenient to get anywhere. You can walk to the South Gate of Slender West Lake, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby.
2. The breakfast was good; while not exceptionally lavish, it had everything you'd expect. The coffee came from a machine and tasted great.
3. The terraces on four of the floors are a major highlight! Breakfast is on the 11th floor (top floor), and on a nice day, you can dine on the terrace, enjoying the lush forest view and a distant glimpse of the Qiling Pagoda while being shielded from the sun – a fantastic experience. You can also enjoy the night view in the evening.
4. The hairdryer is a Dyson, and in the lobby downstairs, there's a coffee machine, tea, hot water, and bottled water available.

Guest UserThe place is beautiful. The rooms/cottages of the hotel are spread around a nice area. There is a vegetable garden and kids could feed the goats and rabbit. My kids loved the hotel and the room. Front desk gave us kids slippers and toothbrushes and a bag full of treats and snacks for the kids. Beds were very comfortable and the family room was beautiful with a balcony looking to the canal. Black swans swimming in there. The private outside hot bathtub was cool. They gave us some activity tickets (kids cookies baking, two free coffee cups and free entrance to the park beside), sadly we couldn’t use them, because we came noon and went to visit a different area , then left the next day after breakfast. The outside hotel surroundings are nice and peaceful. The food was great! Breakfast buffet is delicious. I would recommend it. There was a staff speaking English, but was not necessary for us. The service is very good and friendly…I’ll return.

Anonymous UserThere were some issues when I extended my stay, which wasted quite a bit of time, but they were eventually resolved. The professionalism and service attitude of the front desk staff varied quite a bit. I reported a safety issue with the elevator three times before someone actually paid attention. Luckily, there was a professional manager on duty. The lobby and restrooms seem to have been recently renovated, but the carpets on each floor are quite old and need air freshener to mask the smell. Honestly, though, the overall stay was good. The room cleaning met standards, and the housekeeping and restaurant staff were polite and respectful to all guests. Drinking water was delivered promptly. The sausages, bacon, and Yangzhou fried rice at breakfast seemed to be made with sub-par ingredients and had a noticeable additive taste. However, the plain noodle stand and douhua (tofu pudding) used genuine ingredients and were quite good. The watermelon was also fresh, so no worries about getting sick. B1 seems to be outsourced; its environment and the professionalism of its staff currently don't meet Marriott's standards. Since they do bring in guests, I hope they can work together to improve.
