Yangzhou Hanjiang District Hotels

Location is the big plus.  Within the compound there's hot spring baths, historical sites, multiple restaurants (some needing 2 weeks advance reservation).  The only downside, which can't usually be avoided in China's locally managed hotels, is that the habits of people using rest rooms / importance of toilet paper refill is different from what some foreigners are used to. Still, overall I'll give it 4.6 stars given the variety and historical significance of some of the sites within the compound.

The hotel is pretty good in everthing. The managers in the breakfast reataurant never say ”good morning” or ”hi” when we came in the restaurant. The female manager even take position over you when we met in a narrow road. Thus kinds of manner is really rare in other Shengarali or hig class hotel. They believe that they order what to do. I don't like this services so I decided not to eat in this hotel reataurants. The room and front deck services is very good. I have lived in this hotel for 4 days.

Best location if you wanted to visit Slender Lake as the entrance is just across the road. There are restaurants to the left of the resort as well if opting to dine out. The resort is quite big, with separate buildings housing different types of rooms. Well catered for families with kids. We got the room with a hot spring inside so we didn’t visit the public one.

The hotel has good service and good breakfast with so many options to choose from. The staff was also nice and managed to assist me with check-in as I arrived at the hotel too early. I'd definitely visit this hotel again in the future.

I came to Yangzhou when it was not a tourist season. The hotel at this time was also very cheap, especially cost-effective, and not far from the nearby surroundings. If you come to Yangzhou, it is still quite recommended. Oh, the environment is also very good, quite clean. The morning tea at Fuchun Tea House is delicious, but crab soup dumplings are not recommended. It is too fishy. If you are curious, you can try it. Zhoutang pastry friends recommended me to eat, very delicious, and the price is really not expensive! Recommend Napoleon

The Blossom House is clean, stylishly furnished throughout, and very well run, by efficient staff who offered a genuinely caring service which made us feel at home. It is conveniently located in a quiet corner of a large, up market compound with many eateries, pubs and even a Starbucks that opens till 10pm, and is situated by the Slender Lake which is picturesque beyond words. In early summer the air was always so fresh and we could hear the birds sing on the balcony in the morning. The hotel also has a well equipped 24-hour self-service laundry room which is especially convenient to us. Special thanks to Emma and her team who have looked after us very well, always with a smile, and nothing was too much trouble. Yangzhou is a beautiful historic city which is relatively unspoiled. It is very rich in culture and the locals are nice and friendly. This was our first visit and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience there. We shall return to this wonderful city and hotel!

Convenient transportation, not far from Slender West Lake, Geyuan, Dongguan, and Heyuan. You can see the Mixc across the street from the window. Especially the Dongyuan morning tea on the second floor, not inferior to other popular online stores, the key is that you don't have to queue, and guests staying in the hotel can enjoy a 20% discount. The hotel gave away four bath tickets for Hongqiaofang. A cup of Yangda yogurt is placed in the room every night, and four bottles of water are replenished. In short, it is highly recommended

We come from the USA, and we are happy with this hotel. Essentially we like everything of this hotel. We met Mr. Yu (Xiao Yu) at front desk when we checked in. He is super nice, and helps us a lot. We can check in quickly. We particularly like the hotel room floor, which is hard-wood floor.This makes the hotel room very clean. The bathroom is very clean too. We likely hotel breakfast, which is delicious. The hotel front desk asked us and told us that my young daughter left one of her cloth in her room. We asked them to mail us. They get this thing done immediately. They are super efficiency! Our parents-in-law refer this hotel to us. They stayed this hotel in April. They really liked it. The manager Ms. Qin Zhou is super nice too. We really appreciate their helps and hospitality during our stay.

I stayed for three consecutive days during the May Day holiday. The overall experience was good, especially the free tickets to the night view of Slender West Lake and Daming Temple, which was a surprise. In addition, the hotel breakfast basically meets the needs of southerners, and the restaurant on the second floor also reflects high-end service and standards. It is also very good to experience the slow life of Yangzhou people occasionally.

Follow-up comments: 1. First of all, the security brothers who were responsible for reception on the first floor were really enthusiastic. They helped us with our luggage and parked the car. They smiled and showed us the way. Every time we returned to the hotel from outside, they immediately pressed the elevator for us and washed the car very clean. They really made us feel at home. When I left the hotel, I forgot where I put my sunglasses, so I kept looking for them in the car. The two security brothers stood by the car and waited. They guided us to drive out smoothly after I found them and waved goodbye. 2. All the staff in the hotel have a very good service attitude. The hotel provides fresh fruits every day and also sends souvenirs very considerately. The check-in environment is good, the geographical location is also excellent, and it is very convenient to travel. My family said that they will definitely stay here next time they come to Yangzhou. I will also recommend it to my friends who are going to Yangzhou because it is a warm hotel.
