Hotels in Wanda Plaza/Three Gorges Visitor Center, Yichang

The check in system was such a mess, we booked four rooms individually, but when I checked in, I got a room which had already checked in by my sister. I asked the front office to double check by using my name, but they insisted that they could NOT find my booking under my name. They only identified the booking by checking the booking confirmation number rather than by checking against the spelling of one's full name printed on the ID. The problem was solved in the end after I showed them my sister's room confirmation number, see how it ******, but I was not satifised with such a serious mistake that IHG group could encounter. Quite disappointed although the front office manager did apologize to me afterwards and gave the complimentary breakfast. The room key card could not been placed together with my mobile phone, it was quite wired. I always travel to Beijing and other places, and it was the first time that the room key turned invalid when it stayed close to a mobile phone! Interesting experience!

We stayed for a night to catch the cruise and the hotel is within 3 mins easy stroll to the tourist center and Yangtze river. The shopping center and many restaurants are also within 5 to 10 minutes walk so the hotel location is fantastic. Room is clean and we had great view to Yangtze river and bridge. Free self service laundry at 6F which is a big plus for us. Free snacks and juice in the lobby and the breakfast is good too. Hotel staff are very friendly and considerate. Our cruise shuttle bus departs at 5:30pm and the front desk helped us extend the room for 3hrs until 5pm for only 99 Yuan so the kids and our parents can rest more. Overall great choice for family travelling and we highly recommend!

Location is good, close to Yichang Visitor Center where Three Gorges Dam viewing boats are located. Surroundings is great and has walking trail along Yangtz River bank. Hotel front desk personnel are nice and helpful. Room is very clean. Breakfast has a lot of varieties to choose. We definitely would stay here next time when we visit Yichang again.

Pros: comfortable bed, good location, good air cond probably Cons: i am sorry, what a filthy dirty hotel, from people smoking in the lobby, to the filthy lobby, full of cigarette smell, carpets coming off the floor, floor not vacuumed, lobby and room. My room smelt so bad with cigarette smell I was coughing all night! Couldn’t wait to get out the filthy place! Not sure where all the positive reviews comes from, room was cheap but you expect a clean room at least!

The hotel is located by the river, with a first-line high-altitude river view. The scenery is spectacular, the service exceeds expectations, there is a phone call to arrange the room in advance, free upgrade ✌️, the decoration is elegant and comfortable, and the atmosphere is warm. The service is considerate, and the staff I met in the hotel took the initiative to say hello, which feels very friendly. The parking lot is two floors underground, which is convenient and free. It is very close to the Three Gorges Visitor Center. It is recommended for tourism.

The yard is large and free parking is available. It feels like a big hotel, the rooms are large and the hygiene is good. There is breakfast. It is much better than the Licheng Hotel (see picture). There is no parking space at the Licheng Hotel, and you can't park near the hotel even if you drive. It's speechless. It's very inconvenient. It is rated 4.8 points online, which is probably bought.

Transportation: The transportation is convenient, and it is very convenient to take a taxi. Bus No. 1 can go directly to the high-speed rail station. Service: The service is very good and very enthusiastic. Because the schedule has changed, it is also delayed, which is good. Environment: The surrounding environment is very good, and snacks are also available. There are quite a few, close to Wanda, 3 minutes' walk to the river, very convenient. Facilities: Brand new facilities and equipment, independent air conditioning, very good heating effect, smart rooms, just call Xiaodu, a very cost-effective hotel , worth recommending everyone to stay

The reception staff is superb. They took very good care of our requirements as we don't speak Chinese and had specific meal requirements. The hotel location is great, very close to Tourist centre for all activities. Surely recommend to stay here.

The hotel has convenient parking and a good location. The hotel is in the center of the city, with several large shopping malls on both sides. The front desk staff was very friendly. They upgraded our room based on our two-day reservation. They also delivered fruits, snacks and sweet soup to the room every afternoon, and they were different every day, which was very considerate.

The hotel is very close to the Three Gorges Visitor Center, about 3～ 5 minutes walk, the room is very comfortable, very clean, the service is very good, the experience hall is very good! ! The front desk sister and the cleaning aunt are very good, and I will bring friends to the Three Gorges Dam to play in the future, and I will choose this one! !
