The location and the quality of hot spring are very good but the room was not very clean, especially toilet.
I requested front desk to clean it again and they did it soon after and gave me a voucher of Touhwa shop for apologies; however, after all the toilet was still not very clean and stinky a bit.
BF was also quite local and changed every other day it was not a proper hotel BF but cooked by local people authentically. I liked it, but again, the hygiene in the canting was poor. No one wiped the tables after the first guest left, and next people seated.
consequently, the pros crushed cons so it became even to say good or bad to stay.

Jiaoxi Hot Spring Hotel
Although it is not winter, you can still enjoy a proper hot spring bath at night.
It still makes people relax physically and mentally
The hotel location is good
Snacks and drinks are free 24 hours a day in the lobby
There are no other facilities, but there is a hot spring for bathing indoors.
Sunday breakfast is really good
There are porridge, rice, and bread
It's not like a five-star hotel.
But the price is great value

Facilities: The air conditioner was very loud in the middle of the night, so I couldn't sleep well!
Service: I asked for more pillows from the counter, but they charged me extra. I felt bad. I understand the hotel might be worried about travelers overusing them, but I think there could be some restrictions instead of charging a premium for everything. Overall, at NT$1,599 per night, I still think this kind of accommodation experience is expensive.
Breakfast: I think it's very careless. There's nothing wrong with the porridge, but even the white toast tastes bad. It's really bad.

The room just smells a bit like smoke, so you need to turn on the air conditioner to get rid of the smell. The sound insulation is a bit poor, and the pillow is too flat to sleep comfortably.
