Hotels near Yao Hu Town, Yixing

For my mom's birthday weekend, we booked an attraction and hotel package at Yaohu Town. Everything exceeded my expectations. The hotel offered us a complimentary room upgrade, which turned out to be two separate, independent rooms connected by a small private courtyard. The rooms were incredibly spacious, clean, and luxurious. I especially loved the courtyard. A dedicated butler was assigned to us, and we communicated via WeChat. Our butler assisted us with any questions, tour arrangements, and all hotel-related services. They were extremely professional and warm; upon learning it was my mom's birthday, they even surprised us with a complimentary cake. We arrived early, and our butler continuously tracked the room status to facilitate an early check-in for us. Once the room was ready, they promptly notified us. The package also included unlimited access tickets to the scenic area for three people, along with three rides on the 'Cloud Train' and a traditional rowing boat. The evening boat ride is definitely highly recommended! Even though the small train ride was short, it was a worthwhile experience. Watching the mountains from the train reminded me so much of the red tourist train we took in Norway. The breakfast area at Yaohu Grand Hotel also offered panoramic mountain views, very similar to the scenery outside the breakfast restaurant of our hotel in Voss, Norway. The last five photos were taken in Norway and Yaohu, respectively; I could barely tell them apart! The town itself is very beautiful, though it's not yet fully completed. The town's visitor reception capacity might still need some improvement.

Facilities: The bathroom is quite user-friendly, with rooms for adults and children connected together. The shower is also very good, and the water temperature can be adjusted at will. The cloakroom is also relatively large and convenient. Hygiene: The hotel is newly opened. The lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic. When checking in, she took the initiative to give small pendants to the children to play with. The room was upgraded and it was estimated to be about 90 square meters. The children especially liked the three-piece cartoon set. Environment: The hotel is outside the scenic area. The hotel has a shuttle bus to the visitor center at any time. The concierge led us to the room all the time and especially reminded us not to catch a cold in the cold weather these days! Service: The breakfast on the second floor is pretty standard. The hotel has 600 rooms and there are quite a lot of people dining there. The waiter took the initiative to get the baby chair and tableware. Haha, there is a special bus from the high-speed rail station to the park, which is particularly satisfying. I look forward to the arrival of summer vacation. There is a water park in the park, and the children especially like it! I especially want to praise the hotel housekeeper (Chen Leqian) for contacting me as soon as the order was confirmed and adding me on WeChat and responding to my requests. YYDS

酒店裡所有工作人員都很親切，家庭型的民宿，每個人都有種大哥大姐般的温暖，早飯也很周到，晚上還會送水果和零食，地理位置也很方便，離窯湖小鎮很近，停車也很方便，房間很乾凈，下次來再來玩兒。

The Kiln Workers Inn is next to the tourist service center. Guests can enter the Kiln Lake Scenic Area unlimited times. The hotel location is very good. The butler Jingjing service is very good. On the day of check-in, contact us in advance, add the license plate number for us, and provide the program list of the scenic spot in advance. We stayed late that day, Jingjing also specially reminded us not to miss the fireworks show. Although the Yaohu Scenic Area is an ancient town built after modern times, the management is very standardized, the price of dining in the scenic area is reasonable, and there are plenty of frugality. The overall scenery layout is also very beautiful, especially the water curtain fireworks show, this one is worth the ticket price. The small train takes children to play. Personally recommend the bird appointment. Although the ticket is more expensive, you can see so many birds flying overhead. I think it is worth it.

We had a wonderful three days and two nights. The B&B is very convenient for exploring the surrounding area, close to Yaohu Town and not far from Longchi Mountain for cycling. The owner and his wife were very friendly, and it felt like home, like brothers and sisters. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was the owner's wife's homemade multi-grain porridge, served with eggs, vegetable pancakes, steamed corn and sweet potatoes, and the side dishes were delicious. Self-driving tours are very convenient, as the car can be parked right in front of the B&B.

空調位置不合理，房間空調效果太差了，開1個小時温度都打不下來。牙具衹有一套，房間紙巾都沒有。老闆娘不是在打掃衞生就是在去打掃衞生的路上，根本就看不到人。其他的配套設施基本沒有，就是網絡，熱水，空調，床。其他都沒有了。整個民宿村還是處在建設階段，不建議入住。大部分時間民宿都處與無人看管模式，缺乏安全感。
