SSuphaphan Xumsai Na AyudhayaThis property didn't disappoint us at all, thanks to the help from young gentlemen here from picking us up at the back entrance and treating us to afternoon tea. The hotel is right next to the main waterfall. We can actually see one side of the waterfall from our room balcony. Every room here comes with traditional wooden decorations and a heating unit to keep us warm in cold days. Breakfast was amazing! Everything works perfectly!

HHeu Jen Ying1. Excellent location: Xifuwan Resort Hotel is located in the center of the core scenic area. It can be reached by car in a few minutes near the east gate entrance of the scenic area, 800 meters away from Wulingyuan Bus Station, 800 meters away from Charming Xiangxi Theater, and 10 minutes away on foot. It is very convenient for travel. There is a pedestrian street at the entrance of the hotel, and there are special restaurants around. There are also night markets, banks, pharmacies, supermarkets, fruit stores, shopping malls, specialty stores, clothing stores, barber shops, etc. nearby, which are very convenient for shopping and dining. 2. Brand new facilities and equipment: The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with advanced bathrooms and sufficient hot water. The quilts are very warm and comfortable to sleep. 3. Clean and comfortable: Clean the room and change toiletries in time every day. 4. Intimate and thoughtful service: The proprietress is an English teacher. She kindly and patiently took me to visit the hotel room, made a free travel guide for me and bought discounted tickets for the scenic area, invited me to lunch and dinner, provided free fruit and free breakfast, cared about my travel on the way every day, and greeted, communicated and gave me directions in English from time to time. Thanks to the enthusiastic help and thoughtful service of the boss lady, my trip to Zhangjiajie was very happy and smooth. If you are a foreigner traveling to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park like me, I recommend staying at Xifu Bay Resort Hotel.

10/10 Location : This hotel is right next to the scenic viewing platform to see whole waterfall with the old village. You can't see the waterfall from the room (nice for us since we don't want disturbing sound when we sleep) but replace with very beautiful and calm river view. Each room place separately and have different scenery. It's hard to tell which room you would get when you book the room via Trip.com but the 8805 and 8806 we stayed both have wonderful scenery.
10/10 Service : Hotel staff was very helpful. They helped us carry the luggage to the rooms. They don't have enough staffs in my opinion.
8/10 Facilities : Breakfast is easy and delicious. Room and bathroom facilities are just enough. About drop off, they will drop you to the back entrance of Fenghuang Village area. You will need to walk from the road, pass the alley - the ticket gate, then arrive at the hotel entrance not too far. This hotel may not convenient for elderly.
6/10 Cleanliness : Actually it not all that bad. The room 8805 and 8806 were quite clean minus only the air conditioner when we switch to heater, it smell (may be visitors rarely use heater). But the room 8803 is quite dirty (I guess it's because 8803 is not the frequently occupied room but they give us this room because they want us to stay close to each other). And It's such a shame that they have such a beautiful place but didn't take care of the weeds to allow for the full view from the room.

GGuest UserThe lady boss provided clear video clips and photos of where she will be waiting and the direction for me to meet her at the pick up point outside the train station (prior to my arrival).
The one-way pick up service is complementary as per hotel booking. A value added service provided by the hotel and lady boss. Other hotels did not provide such service.
The hotel is at the center of the Furong Town main street, which is approx 300-400m from the entrance. It's very convenient to walk to any hotspots in Furong Town.
The room is clean and comfortable. It's a modern design room type compared to my friend's other hotel room, which is a local antique design.
The view from the room balcony was great especially at night, although it's not a waterfall view.
My overall stay was great and satisfied.

FFar Off & OutThe hotel was in a great location. You can see the entire waterfall and city from your room.
There were only two main things that concerned us. The first was the smell. The hotel is located on top of a restaurant; therefore, you would often smell food in the room and in the halls. We did not quite enjoy the smell. The second is the cleanliness. Brooms and trash bags were left in the hallway as the cleaner cleaned the hotel. It felt quite unclean. The view on the side of the room/ hotel was also all trash. In the pictures, it looked like mountains or trees.
For foreigners, please check whether your room had sitting or squatting toilets. We had squatting toilets, but the photos did not show it.

JJimlim33We enjoyed our stay at Twang Palace Babutang. They picked us up when our taxi called them. If not, we might be lost finding the hotel. So, please contact the hotel when you are staying with them. They also fetch us to the train station after we check-out. The views at our hotel room, overlooking the waterfall and the surrounding places was priceless. We took a lot of photos. We were lucky to have a good night sleep as the mosquito did not disturb us.

GGuest UserService was excellent here, each one of the workers was so friendly and gave us free fruit and snacks the day we arrived. They let us choose which room we wanted to stay in, and also organised pick ups to and from the hotel, which we really appreciate. View was lovely too and we were able to see the fireworks. Highly recommend staying here :)
