It's a typical business hotel, similar to Apa or Toyoko in Japan.

Forty minutes before and after check-in, the front desk had a very bad attitude, did not solve the problem, and did not clean the room the next day. The only advantage is that it is close to the train station. Not highly recommended.

I went to York with my friends and booked two rooms. The staff has been helping to adjust them. Very nice. The location and environment are also great

We have stayed in many Premiere Inns but I would never stay in the York Blossom Street North/South again. We stayed in this hotel for one night, 29th December, never again. The room was okay, smelt of chlorine, pretty basic and worn. The breakfast was disgusting and when I spoke to the manager, she blamed the North Blossom street hotel for not sending the correct list detailing customers who had booked breakfast. Had to queue to get a table (approximately 15 minutes) then queued for over 30 minutes for breakfast with limited options (nothing there) and what was there was under cooked. It was disgusting. Even had to wait 10 minutes for a tea bag so I could make a cup of tea.

There was a lot of noise out of the window and the room was hot as hell with a broken AC and it was only march. And it stinks too. AND THERE WAS NO PIZZA LEFT! Not having pizza, the oven of a room and noise out the window is what killed it for me. ——————-

You stay in a Premier Inn because its trusted. The road noise kept us awake and the pub was dirty (walls covered in spills, chef dragged cloth over the tomatoes). Breakfast was short on everything (but they topped it up eventually). The air con was good and the room and bed were clean and comfy. The bar shuts at 9.45 (last orders) so its not rowdy residents! I'd stay if you don't mind the cars, busses and people noise from the street and if not eating.

Usual good Premier Inn experience, just with two exceptions. Very expensive parking at £14 a day, and a exceptionally warm room (air con went to 19 at its lowest setting, so preferred to have it off and window open), making sleep difficult. If warm rooms make it difficult to sleep, avoid this hotel.
