It was a pleasant stay in Hua wowo hotel. Air quality was super good there. It was the best place for watching the sunrising in the yard or in the room of the hotel, very nice view. Room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was a quiet place for holidays. Hotel restaurant offered local planted vegetables and local raised fishes from the terraces. The owner and other staffs of the hotel were very friendly and helpful. We will choose the same hotel if we visit again.

Canadian traveler stayed 3 nights in late September. Good breakfast. The resort is very nice, restaurant food dishes were tasty, services were excellent. Two rice terraces are within walking distance (Hani and Jiankou). Others are further out, you need to have your own transport. Off season rates are very affordable. A bit off the off the beaten path. Rooftop terrace perfect for star-gazing and sunrise - we booked a room with an east view which was lovely in the evening when we arrived but quickly got very warm in the morning, this would be great in winter but maybe the cool rooms on the other side of the hotel are better in summer. Excellent breakfast of noodles, very comfortable room and bed, the hotel is on the edge of an authentic village and we spent a few hours wandering around the rice terraces in the morning. This time I went to Yuanyang to see the terraced fields. I looked at several homestays on Ctrip and finally booked Yifangyuandian. The homestay, Yuntu and Huawowo are all on the hillside cliff of Duoyishu terraced fields. The viewing position is excellent, almost the same as the view from the viewing platform of Duoyishu Scenic Area. The terrace and floor-to-ceiling windows in the room face the Duoyishu Rice Terraces. There is no need to squeeze into the observation deck in the morning. The proprietress was also very welcoming. After she made a phone call when she got to the main road, she drove a small electric car to help with the luggage. The homestay also provides stir-fried dishes at a reasonable price. I will stay at her house next time I come to the terraced fields.

This stay was the highlight of our trip, the beauty of the rice terraces coupled with our experience at the hotel made it special. By chance we chose a smaller village and a hotel that was just open for 6 months, the room, ameneties were great and the staff very helpful. You do not have much choice at mealtime as there are no restaurants in the village but we found the food to be tasty and adequate. There is an excellent viewing platform which was almost complete and is a short walk from the hotel. Peaceful, serene and relaxing was our stay.
