SSerena_세레나I was looking for a place with good value for money and accessibility in Kyoto because I was attracted to ryokans! It is a place near Kirin Lake, so it is close to Yufuin Street. The location is perfect! It was about 10-15 minutes walk from the bus terminal and Yufuin Station. I was alone, but I went there cheaply because there was a special price. There seemed to be many families, and I didn't make a reservation, so I used it at 16:30, which is ambiguous about using the private bath. I was originally staying in Yufuin for 2 nights, and it was the last day, so I went right at check-in time and spent the day at the accommodation. I enjoyed the private bath and the large bath, and it was so great! It was December 9/10, but it wasn't cold to wash outside (it could be the heat of the hot spring, but it varies from person to person.)
You can enjoy the private bath in the morning, but I finished the morning with the large bath! The kaiseki and breakfast were great!
I also thought it would be better if I brought my parents. I don't know if the staff is Korean, but there was someone who could speak Korean, so I had a very comfortable trip!!
You should definitely visit.

FFung ManI booked a private spa for three days and two nights at this hot spring hotel from January 10th to 12th. I was very satisfied with the hotel's service, environment, and location. It's also very close to Jinlin Lake or Pedestrian Street in the morning. You also have your own private room for breakfast and dinner. I highly recommend this hotel. 😃

The location is about 700 to 800 meters away from the busiest street in Yufuin. You can get there by walking down the hill and turning a corner.
If you drag your luggage to arrive from the JR station on foot, it will be more difficult. It takes about 2 kilometers and it is also tiring to go up the mountain. It is recommended to take a taxi

I felt like I was being treated well.
It's a bit far from downtown Yufuin, but a taxi from the station costs about 1,000 yen. The ryokan is very large, so it was a bit far to go to the room after breakfast and dinner, but I was able to listen to the sound of water and look at the trees, and it was a quiet time.
The family bath was really nice, but there weren't many guests, so I could use it freely, and there was no time limit for use, so I was happy.
The room was also in the style of a traditional Japanese house, so I was able to really feel like I was traveling, and it was really nice.
The food was delicious, but dinner was too loose for Koreans. I asked for the next dish to be served right away in the latter half. I need to know how to enjoy my time, but Korean blood can't be helped 🤭
Ah, Gettoan Original Takju! It was so delicious that I drank three bottles in total. I don't like alcohol, but I drank it all by myself! I was very disappointed that it wasn't sold.
There weren't many reviews online, so I was half excited and half worried, but it was so much better than I imagined, so I was so happy about my first trip to Yufuin, and I think the aftertaste will last a long time. There were Korean staff members, and Japanese Ms. Lina is trying hard to learn Korean, so I was so grateful that she tried her best to speak Korean.
I was touched that they even printed out the snapshots of the pictures they took of our first dinner.
I will definitely visit again someday.
We are a couple getting married soon, so we will visit as a couple next time.
I think I will miss the takju too!

The front desk clerk is also very friendly and tries to explain various issues in English and introduce places. Dinner and breakfast are also very rich. LLimJia YingThe service they provide is up and beyond. I love how this whole place is set up in such a way for people to mingle. I wish I could have stayed longer and chat with the people. Unfortunately I think it was off peak season so there weren't many people. The owner is generous and friendly, people that stays there are good natured people. The owners sang country road to everyone that leaves in the morning, very heart warming and eye teary especially when I met a wonderful old couple from kagoshima during the wonderfully made breakfast. The common area, which is the dining area, has a scenic view of outside, and the main city that lights up a little at night and beautifully decorated interior. It feels like home. I also enjoyed the indoor onsen too. My favourite bit was the classical music playing in the background, and how accessible it is, like a backyard. If you stay here, return the deed by being good guests.

The waiters here understand Mandarin and have no problem communicating. The room I booked this time is equipped with an independent bath, which is semi-open-air. You can see the outdoor scenery. The water quality and temperature are very good, and it feels very good. In addition to enjoying the hot spring in my room, I also soaked in the public hot spring in the hotel. There is an outdoor and an indoor hot spring. There are time limits. Although the hot spring is not too big and can accommodate 6 people each, there was no one during the time I soaked. The food is delicious. **But what I am not very impressed with is the control of other service providers. Mostly, 99% on the day I stayed were Koreans who were not very polite. They did not know even the etiquette and rules of using the public hot spring. I am not sure if the owner of the accommodation has informed the rules of using the hot spring, which is something I cannot accept. They were loud, threw the earbuds on the floor, and were not orderly. They also wore shoes in the common area of the dressing room in the hot spring. I was very disappointed. It was a rather disappointing vacation, even though it should have been a good day for me. I lost the mood to soak in the atmosphere. I did not even have the heart to take pictures of the atmosphere with the accommodation.
