We had the incredible opportunity to stay at this family-owned hotel near Baisha Ancient Town. Built and run by a Naxi family, the hotel radiates authenticity and warmth. From the moment we arrived, the staff (all locals from the community) welcomed us with genuine hospitality, sharing stories about their traditions, daily life, and even recommending hidden gems in the area.
The owners made us feel like part of their family, offering insights into Naxi culture we’d never get at a chain hotel. They also offer home-cooked breakfasts that are delicious, freshly prepared local dishes every morning as well as convenient amenities such as electric motorbike to explore Baisha Ancient Town. We also had direct view of Yulong mountain from our room, waking up to that scenery was unforgettable.

The yard of this B&B is super beautiful, and the pastoral scenery outside is also very beautiful. The attitude is very good and there is a pick-up service, free fruits, drinks and snacks, and you can borrow electric cars for free. It is very close to Baisha Ancient Town and you can walk there.
