"The hotel offers a pleasant environment and is considered one of the better options in Yushu. It's kept very clean, and the breakfast spread is varied and tasty. The only minor issue was that our visit coincided with a region-wide power grid upgrade, which led to city-wide blackouts. Thankfully, the hotel has its own generator, but the power supply was intermittent. Therefore, if you're planning to visit during this time, it's advisable to call ahead and check the electricity situation."

"This hotel was the most comfortable and reassuring hotel I stayed at during this trip. The receptionist was very welcoming and provided excellent service, and the receptionist was also very friendly. I will definitely stay at this hotel again next time I come to Yushu."

"I had a lovely stay at Ruige hotel. The location of the hotel is very centric and convenient. The rooms are spotless clean and very comfortable. On the second day I asked for a room with better views and was offered an amazing room with beautiful views of the mountains, a sofa area, a desk and even a dining area for just a few dollars extra. Totally worth it. My room was so nice I didn’t want to leave! But what really made my stay at Ruige Hotel extra special was the staff. They were so warm and helpful! The first day I arrived early in the morning and not feeling well because of the altitude. They not only allowed me to do an early check-in, they even offered me complimentary Oxigen bottles. I spent most of the day dozing off and letting my body adjust to the altitude. Since I was still weak to venture out, I asked the receptionist to recommend me a film on ******* culture. She suggested a great film and helped set it up so I could have English subtitles. It was a memorable film which helped understand the deep religious beliefs and customs of ******* people. In summary I don’t have enough words to praise Ruige Hotel and I highly recommend it. Ah also, all the toiletries are disposable something I had never experienced before. Perhaps the hotel was opened or designed during the pandemic and they have made extra effort for everything to be super hygienic which is something to be grateful for."

"Excellent location! The museum is just a two-minute walk away (turn right upon exiting). Jiegu Temple is a short five-minute drive and is definitely worth visiting. You can even see Jiegu Temple right from your room window! The hotel also provides parking."

"Newly renovated hotel, facilities are very new, there is an oxygen generator, but I didn't see the floor heating switch, the room was bright, the inside side was very quiet, smart toilet, disposable supplies, why did BUT not have a shower cap? 😅😅😅, the bedding is comfortable, the pillows are hard and soft, thoughtful, and the TV is also very big. Overall, it is highly recommended."

"I'll start with the good. The positives mentioned earlier are indeed there: the convenient location and the room had everything we needed—a hairdryer, shampoo, and shower gel. The girls at reception called us a taxi and were very friendly. Now for the negatives, which completely ruined the experience: 1. The room was cold. The heating either didn't work or was drastically inadequate. We had to sleep fully clothed. 2. No proper towels. Instead of bath towels, they only provided small, stiff disposable ones that didn't absorb any moisture at all. Drying off after a shower was a huge challenge. 3. A lingering smell of cigarettes. The room was clearly smoky; you could smell it in the fabrics and the air. 4. The view from the window was completely uninviting—straight out onto a noisy and dirty market. In the morning, it wasn't the birds that woke us up, but the shouts of the vendors."
