Jadran is centrally located so walking to many restaurants and sites is practical. Also, the tram system runs by the front door and stops are close by. Rooms are OK, clean and relatively convenient. The elevator is ancient and slow. If someone fails to close the door completely, your room is converted to a 5th floor walk up until the situation is corrected. Breakfast is adequate but not really worth its cost. The staff is friendly and helpful. Limited parking is available on premises and essential if you are driving.

The hygiene is very good, I am very satisfied, the service is also very good, the breakfast is rich, the meal time is sufficient, and the facilities are complete. In particular, the hotel is in an excellent location, close to the bus station, train station and tourist center. The rooms on the street side are noisy from trains and trams. If you mind, please inform the front desk in advance when checking in so that a quiet room can be arranged to ensure quality rest.

I recommend this hotel as it is very well placed to wander around Zagreb. It is clean, very good breakfast and the staff not just friendly but very helpful. When you have had a wonderful holiday it is always easy to write a good review but my review is based upon yes a lovely holiday but it had to be cut short by five days - I got quite ill and had to return to London. The response by staff could not have been better or more kind. Not only did they help me get organised to leave but they also waived the cost of the 5 days. They did not have to do this but chose to help and support me. So I cannot speak more highly of this Hotel and its staff. And thank them so very much for making this difficult time more manageable fr me. So this review in not simple about the physical attributes of this very well placed hotel but evolves from the leadership and priorities of the Hotel and staff to fundamentally serve its customers. This place appears to be a bit of a somewhat well- worn kitschy relic of the Soviet era-not a negative at all. The lobby has a bunch of intriguing items that one would never see in the West. Room/bathroom were quite spacious & spartan-no issues. Only thing needed to be a 5 star review is just a basic mini-fridge as while this is close to the main bus station, it is pretty far from everything else including restaurants & grocery stores so one needs to stock up on beverages, etc. when one is not out and about. Overall, good deal for a budget hotel particularly for solo travelers like myself.

Hotel is on a walk distance from the center of the city. All employees are very kind and helpful. The parking lot is located within the hotel and surrounding buildings and is not on the street. The rooms are smaller (I don't know about all of them) but they are very clean and tidy. Breakfast is nice and correct.

The breakfast is simple but more attentive, and the location is excellent. The front entrance of the hotel is the commercial center, and the back entrance is not more than 5 minutes' walk up the mountain to reach the old town. There is a free parking lot, and the service is superb, helping iron the clothes for free. Great choice in Zagreb.

A hotel personal was very helpful and friendly. Specially on reception desk , Young lady (didn't remember her name) thanks for late night dinner . Hotel is in green town arises. Small bar with funny staff . Maybe they can improve working time. I land after 10pm and search for some beers. They closed at 23pm

It is located a bit far from the city centre but short tram ride, situated in a very good area, near one of the main bus stations there, also in the area there are many small places where you can find variety of food. Breakfast was basic but enough choices between ham, cheese, sausage, eggs, salad, bread .... Room was simple, good free WiFi, no AC nor fridge People there are so friendly, smiling and helping. Special thanks to Leon, Josipa and the other lady at the reception (forgive me, can't recall her name) who really made our stay unforgettable

It's hard to write an honest review of this hotel because there's not really any fault with it in itself... BUT... it is VERY remote right at the top of a mountain about 10 miles outside of the city and it takes at least an hour to get back and forth along a very narrow winding road so, if like us, you were thinking of staying here and popping back and forth, think again. The hotel is really a ski hotel and geared mainly to accommodate the small ski resort nearby therfore the season it caters for is winter. This wasn't clear at the time of booking so when we arrived at the end of the summer (September) the pool was closed for cleaning, there was no drinking water due to seasonal maintenence and other services closed or limited etc. Having booked to stay the week we cancelled our booking and only stayed the one night. Bottom line is it's a nice, clean hotel and the staff were all very friendly but it wasn't what we we're led to believe at the time of booking, hence writing this review in the hope that it stops other travellers being misled.

There is a tram right at the door, so even though the location is a little far away, it is convenient to travel. In terms of overall price, it is very cost-effective.
