Unfortunately, a hotel employee stole from us. On the first day, we were charged tourist fees, and my wife and I paid for the full two weeks. The lady collecting the fees made a mistake with another guest and was short 50 EUR. Unfortunately, we were unlucky, and it fell on us. The next day, they showed us a pixelated video with no visible details and tried to convince us that the money shown in the footage was less than what we and witnesses had seen. Then, they kept calling our room, "chasing" us for 59 EUR. In the end, the woman responsible for the whole mess threatened to call the police if we didn’t pay for her mistake. It was an incredibly embarrassing and totally unprofessional situation. After such an experience, it’s impossible to recommend a stay in a place where guests are being robbed...

Our experience at the Ionis Art hotel was truly exceptional! The location is fantastic, with easy access to everything you need to enjoy your stay. The rooms are comfortable and clean, offering all the amenities one could want. The food was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious dishes, carefully prepared with local ingredients. The breakfast was rich and delicious, and our dinners impressed us with the quality and freshness of the ingredients. Additionally, the hotel organizes amazing events, with great attention to detail. The team behind these events deserves high praise for ensuring that we had unique experiences. Lastly, I would like to mention the bartenders, Ioakeim and Nikos, who made our stay even more enjoyable. They are professionals, friendly, and always eager to recommend the best cocktails. Their drinks were fantastic, and their warm personalities made every evening special. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality! Thanks everyone!

The hotel is definitely not for those seeking a peaceful and quiet holiday, but more for those who prioritize party atmosphere and being close to bars and clubs. It's a typical "Greek 4-star" hotel, which in practice means it's a 3-star hotel, mainly catering to Polish tourists, which for some will be an advantage and for others a disadvantage. The standard of the rooms is very uneven - in the first room we got, the air conditioning leaked all night, and there was no hot water for the first two days. In the second room, everything seemed newer and the appliances fortunately worked properly. Additionally, be prepared for noise: rooms facing the pool will be loud from 11 AM to midnight, and those facing the street from midnight to 6 AM. It’s best to request a room facing the car park when making a reservation. The food is just okay; breakfasts are the worst, but lunches and dinners were really great, showing that the kitchen uses good quality ingredients. :) The "beach" is a disaster... We chose this hotel partly for its proximity to the beach - and indeed, it’s close to the shoreline (a 2-minute walk), but that narrow ***** of dirty stones right by the street simply cannot be called a beach... It’s worth taking about a 10-minute walk to the left to find a quieter, sandy, pleasant spot for beachgoing. On the plus side, the hotel’s entertainment (mainly in Polish) was diverse, fun, and there was really something for everyone during the day 🙂 On Saturdays, there’s a fantastic Greek evening with delicious food and a great atmosphere, we really enjoyed ourselves! Our overall rating is rather average, on a scale of 1-10, I’d give this hotel a maximum of 5 - mainly for Ms. Tatiana, who tried to be as helpful as she could, the very nice Bartender, and the Polish animators who made our days more enjoyable. Unfortunately, the other aspects were much worse. So far, this has been the worst hotel we have vacationed at with my husband, and we definitely wouldn’t want to return.

This hotel is awful, rooms should be renovated, A/C is old and dirty, which made me have a laryngeal infection. Cleaning ladies almost don’t clean room at all. Everyday our floor was dirty with her hair all around and a lot of dust. Also, cleaning lady did smoke in our room while cleaning, our room smelled like cigarettes for few hours after that. About food - everyday it’s mostly the same, or last night salmon in variety of meals for the next two days, etc.. wine is not a wine, I would call it water infused it with wine. If you want a frappe, you need to pay €3 for it (what all inclusive is this if you need to pay for national drink?). Coffee is very poor quality. Almost all guests are Polish and they aren’t satisfied as well. Lady in the reception is always trying to sell their wine and olive oil, she tells everyone that „if you buy somewhere else, it will be poor quality”, which is not correct, because we’ve been to great places with much cheaper products which were very good and tasty. Even Zákynthos winery had better prices than the hotel. I strongly do not reccomend stay in that hotel, I feel robbed for the price we paid for our stay in here. The hotel should have at most 3 stars. They only thing we are satisfied with is the beauty of the island. But not in that hotel…. Please, avoid..

Hotel clean. Rooms cleaned every day. Delicious and varied food, everyone will find something for themselves. The pool is small and there are few sunbeds, you could easily find an empty one. The best person in the hotel is Ioakim. A man with a smile on his face makes great drinks. With Him, one always laughs. He understands everyone regardless of language. The hotel's location is good, close to the beach, shops, pubs and nightclubs where you can go dancing. I highly recommend this hotel

Hardly can I find words to express how happy we were to spend 7 days this summer in the Ionis Art Hotel, in Laganas, Zakynthos – a fantastic place to visit! Everything is perfect there - the location of the hotel, which is, in fact, just 15 minutes from Zakynthos and 5 minutes to the beach (so you don’t really get tired waiting to see the beauty of the Ionic Sea)). When we got there, we immediately felt at home because of the most welcoming, responsive and hospitable staff, ready to give a hand in EVERY situation possible (really appreciate that!!) and make our stay enjoyable with the entertainments of all sorts. Another thing that immediately caught the eye was the cosiness of the hotel and its exquisite, artistic décor. You can feel it not only in the lobby, but in rooms too. Our room overlooked the pool, it was wonderful - spacious and very comfortable and, seemed to have a character of its own with super comfy beds, side tables, mirrors and pictures on the walls. Needless to mention all the necessary conveniences that it had. Every day the maids ensured its immaculate cleanliness. The hotel restaurant and the cuisine exceeded all our expectations! I would like to say special thanks to the chef of the hotel restaurant Michalis, the sous chef Mario and the whole restaurant team (the waiters were very polite and helpful) for the delicious, fresh and varied food we enjoyed every day! The masterclass of making the Greek food that the chef offered to the guest and the Greek dinner were amazing! (now I know how to make a real Greek salad)) Thank you!!! To cut a long story short, I can truly say that the Ionis Art Hotel was the best stay ever. When we have another chance to visit this wonderful island, there’ll be no other choice to make but the Ionis Art!
