Okay, we've just wrapped up our stay at the Balcony Boutique Hotel, and I wanted to give you our full personal take on it. The location is amazing. On a hill overlooking the sea, which means you get these absolutely incredible panoramic views from... well, you guessed it, the balconies! The one in your room and the beautiful terrace of the hotel. It's a short drive from the main rush, and even in May a rush it is, so it feels private and peaceful, but you're still very close to things when you need to head out. For us, that balance was perfect. You'll definitely want a car to get around easily, but honestly, the place and the views are worth it. Our room was modern, stylish, boutiquey. A well deserved name. It was a clean room, with a super comfortable bed. Good air conditioning and reliable Wi-Fi. And that balcony! The perfect spot for morning coffee (or an evening drink), slowly enjoying the marvelous view. The room is an experience in itself. The service was excellent. The staff were warm, welcoming, and very attentive. Their personal touch really elevated the stay. Overall, if you're looking for a peaceful, stylish escape with breathtaking views and a strong sense of personalized service, the Balcony Boutique Hotel is a good choice. It's not a crowded resort-style place. We left feeling completely pleased, which is why I didn't want to hold this comment short.

The hotel is nice, the rooms clean, tidy and comfortable. The view from the balcony was superb. The staff could not do enough for us, very helpful recommending places to go to visit and to eat. Breakfast comprehensive, fresh and a good choice (yoghurt and honey is always a winner). Beach towels provided clean everyday, we used a nearby beach which we happily paid for sunbeds, as there was waiter service, and you could guarantee you could keep it all day, without issue. The area is beautiful we did a boat trip and another day hired a quad bike, which enabled us to travel around the island. The hotel is up a hill, and a 20 min walk into town, we are active and enjoyed this, but it may not be for everyone. There is no pool, nor sunbeds at the hotel, but, we knew this and it was not a problem for us. One lovely point, is it is a child free hotel, so no screaming beasts ruining your breakfast. Will definitely return to the island, its is beautiful, and wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Balcony Hotel again. If a pool, nightlife and you can't walk up hills, stay somewhere else rather than leave a negative review about no pool, hilly etc, the Hotel certainly does not deserve that

I stayed here the evening before my Wedding with my Mam, then the evening of my wedding with my new husband. This hotel is fantastic! The staff made me feel like a princess, nothing was too much trouble. So close to Tsilivi but as soon as you’re at the balcony you feel miles away from the rest of the world, so peaceful and calm! I’d recommend all Balcony brides to stay here. The room for getting ready was fab and spacious with a jacuzzi bath. It was great having the room there for make up touch ups, or outfit changes etc! Thank you sooo much!!

I almost hate to write this glowing review since it will mean in the future, more people will take advantage of this absolutely perfect hotel on Zakinthos which will mean less access for people like me. However, having stayed in many hotels over the years, most middle range, some a bit expensive, the Balcony Hotel, in my opinion is as perfect as it gets. Perched high on a cliff overlooking the beautiful Ionian Sea with a magnificent view down below, it was a little slice of heaven. Spotlessly clean, sumptuous included breakfasts with something for every taste (they even made special entrees for my vegan niece), extremely comfortable beds and well appointed rooms, gracious and ever helpful and knowledgeable and accessible staff, this place was well thought out in every possible way to provide the best experience a weary traveler can have. If it were up to me, I would have spent my entire time in Greece staying there. I simply cannot think of one thing I would improve on. And if you’re smart, you will come to depend on the staff as we did to help you find good restaurants, water adventures, shuttle options, and sightseeing tips for everything Zakinthos which is now probably my favorite Greek Island. Snorkeling at the Blue Cave at Kerri was the highlight for me after the magical wedding of my niece Katie at a small exquisite Greek Orthodox Church where the locals clapped as we left the church, followed by the reception at the Balcony Hotel which matched the service in every way. Five stars for me for the Balcony Hotel in Tsilivi and their staff. To believe this review, you only have to experience it, and lucky you if you do.
