Bitzaro Palace Hotel - All Inclusive

We are half way through our week here firstly it’s amazingly clean, rooms, restaurant, and pool area. The staff are very friendly always collecting plates ,bar staff great no queues although second week of season. Apparently the flooring around pool has been changed to tiles & I find they are very slippery when wet which is my only concern. It’s definitely a chilled quiet atmosphere no entertainment apart from singer once or twice which suits us. We stayed in Kalamaki before ,lovely beach yesterday we walked to laganus along the new path & back along the beautiful beach. Lots of bars & great restaurants 5mins walk from the hotel. The food has been of the best quality if not quantity so we’ve not eaten out once. Enough choice for most appetites plus snacks available freshly made to order.

We first visited this hotel 10 years ago and thought it was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at and that there would be little room for improvement. I am happy to be proven wrong on this account and can say that the Bitzaro Palace is even better than before. The staff are so genuinely friendly and welcoming, the rooms are comfortable and easily accessible and the food is first class. It is a quiet location and well suited to all ages and abilities but many of the guests are in the mature age range. Not a great deal for kids to do apart from the swimming pool and small kids pool although the lovely beach is only a short walk away.

We have visited the Bitzaro Palace before and loved it but as another reviewer has mentioned, it has obviously made some cutbacks in certain areas that made our experience not as good as our previous visit. I will say, we had no issue with the Aircon. It never went off as others have mentioned and the room itself was great apart from the roller bed for our son was not ideal. Very thin mattress which made it quite uncomfortable and also made navigating a very small room quite hard. It was put up against the balcony door so I was constantly knocking my shins on the bed trying to get back in as there was only a small gap to go through. Food was okay but just okay. It got very repetitive very quickly. Breakfast however was great. Dinner service has declined. You used to get sat down and drinks orders taken but that has gone. Instead you have to queue up at the bar, where they were serving the cheapest coke ever. It was really horrid. Sometimes they had pepsi but not often. By the time it was at the end of the bottle, it was completely flat. The beer wasn't great but other alcoholic drinks were okay. Bar staff could be quite sullen but reception staff and cleaners were lovely and super helpful. Snack bar was good though, lots of choice. The pool was ridiculously busy up until about 4pm. Everyone on lilos or playing ball games, meant you couldn't actually swim. It was like sardines in a can. Everyone has mentioned it but the decking around the pool either needs removing or completely renovating as it is quite unstable in places, with splinters. One lady broke her arm tripping on one of the planks and spent her holiday in a cast! Nothing ruined our holiday, and we had a good time but standards have certainly slipped since our first visit a few years ago and we are by no means fussy.

Not sure what Allison B is talking about she must have been drunk but I bet she’s a water only lady. Place Is amazing that includes the food, staff, pool , drinks, room and location. Plenty of choice and guess what even plain pasta today. Food is amazing. Superb stay

Fantastic stay for the last week of the season, staff are great, especially reception and the cleaners. Rooms cleaned daily to a high standard. We didn't have any problems getting a sunbed, air-conditioning worked fine also. Food was a bit hit and miss as a vegetarian but luckily I do love a salad and everything was very fresh. Mosquitos are absolutely rife, and even my best attempts of a room plug-in, spray, and wristbands I still got bit a few times. Didn't go to the entertainment, so I can't comment. It was a super relaxing week, which was just what was needed. We were given free late checkout, which was a pleasant surprise and very welcomed. Beautiful beach 10 minutes walk away, supermarket close by and some shops were still open. Not many day trips running as end of season but we did do the shipwreck tour (it is not a 45 minute transfer as advertised by TUI, more like 1.5 hours) we also did Horse riding with Happy Horses which was the best experience. I went with my 10 year old and even though there was nothing here for kids she still had the best week. We would absolutely come again. The hotel is on a flight path but this didn't bother us in the slightest. Yes the decking could do with some TLC but it wasn't dangerous. Although it is marketed as a 4* hotel I wouldn't say it is, more 3* plus at a push, but it was a cheap getaway so I'm not particularly bothered.

Our home from home . This was our 8th visit to Bitzaro Palace we obviously can highly recommend this hotel . Staff are amazing, hotel and the beautiful grounds are spotless clean . Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Excellent choice of food at every sitting plus a snack menu in between lunch and dinner . You will never go hungry! Situated in a quiet country setting and within a short walk to shops , bars , restaurants on the Kalamaki road . The opposite way you have a peaceful pretty walk to the beach . Very good value for money . We will return year after year .
