Zhangjiajie Yongding District 5-star Hotels

The entire property is spotless, beautifully maintained, and filled with a wonderful fragrance that instantly makes you feel relaxed. The food is absolutely delicious — every meal was a delight. We recently stayed at the Wyndham Garden Zhangjiajie Tianmen Mountain and our holiday experience was made truly exceptional by the hotel's travel department! Their service was truly outstanding and they guided us thoroughly with our travel plans especially for our visit to the Zhangjiajie national park. Our tour guide Zhang Xiaoyan was incredibly knowledgeable, providing fascinating insights into every scenic spot. Her friendly and patient demeanor made us feel at ease throughout the journey. Thanks to their thoughtful arrangements and enthusiasm, we had an unforgettable and thoroughly enjoyable holiday here. The hotel is in Country Garden Resort. We drove to Zhangjiajie and stayed there for four nights. We didn't want to move. We visited Tianmen Mountain and Forest Park. This hotel is spacious, with large rooms, outdoor swimming pool, easy parking, and not too far from all the attractions. Of course, they are not close, but the environment is very good and quiet. It is very comfortable to relax in the swimming pool after climbing the mountain for a day. The few days we stayed should be off-season, and there are not many people staying. There should be more dining options in the peak season. Special praise for the lobby manager Chen Siyu, who took the initiative to contact and provide dining and tourism information before check-in. We booked two rooms and arranged suitable rooms. During the stay, he took the initiative to provide various help many times, including wheelchair service, breakfast with wontons, fruit preparation, etc. This is the second time I stayed in a Country Garden hotel. The last time was in Haiyang. It was cost-effective and the stay was very pleasant. I will consider it again in the future.

I wanted to write a review about this hotel, it's worth sharing, so I stayed there for one night. I was supposed to go to Tianmen Mountain, but canceled it temporarily because I wanted to experience it more deeply. Overall, it exceeds the average level of domestic B&Bs, and is above average. They have put some effort into the details of both software and hardware. It is located in a valley, and it feels a bit like walking in Tao Yuanming's ”Records of the Tao Yuanming” and suddenly feeling enlightened. It is very peaceful. After chatting, I learned that it started out as a catering business around 2011, and later developed into a B&B until now, so the dishes are one of the highlights. The two dogs and several cats are a plus, and they are very easy to pet. Although the team we trained ourselves is not as good as the professional ones, there is still accumulation of details and management. I hope it will get better and better. I will stay here again for a few days if I have the chance!

This place was incredible, for the price I still can’t understand how they can offer such a beautiful building and such fantastic service. Wendy in particular stood out, nothing was too much to ask. Highly recommend adding Wendy on WhatsApp so that you can talk to her as needed. She truly goes above and beyond. Place is so beautiful, if you told me it used to be a place I would believe you. Recommend the private driver service they offer, it was much cheaper than the DIDIs.

A Wonderful Stay - Highly Recommended! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism by the hotel staff. Every team member - from reception to room service and restaurant staff - was incredibly helpful and attentive, making our stay truly enjoyable. Special shout-out to 李清平 and 王芳 who eagerly helped to address all our enquiries ranging from good restaurants recommendations, local places to visit and didi car hailings. Despite being an established hotel, everything was impeccably clean and well maintained. The facilities were top-notch, providing both comfort and convenience. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed, with a wonderful river view. There are a couple of convenience stores, a small cozy coffee shop and a travel agency located on the ground floor of the hotel. The latter made our planning excursions seamless and stress free, adding great value to our trip. The travel agent staff (:萍姐) was also super helpful and attentive to our tour requirements. The breakfast buffet was also great, offering both western and local options - a good chance to savour some local delicacies. The hotel location was another major plus- just a short 10 min walk to the Tianmen cable car station. Fantastic restaurants were also just around the corner, perfect for experiencing local flavors. The hotel's restaurant on the 2nd floor was also a good choice, particularly on a rainy day when we did not want to venture out. A special shout-out to 李昕 and 甜甜, whom are both cheerful and helpful. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. From its welcoming atmosphere to the excellent facilities and convenient location, it was a perfect choice. We'll definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the Tianmen Mountain area.

Very good B&B, very good service. Location: 15 minutes from Tianmen Mountain, about 10 minutes from the airport, the housekeeper arranged a pick-up service for us to facilitate. Decoration: The exterior is geometric lines, the interior is solid wood wabi-sabi style, the infinity pool is amazing, the room is large, and it looks good no matter how you take pictures. The riverside B&B is very cool at night. Service: I would like to praise the housekeeper Yueyue, who is patient and careful, and the planned route is very detailed. I brought my family with me, so there would be more trivial matters. The housekeeper was very patient, and the coffee made by Yueyue was delicious. Dining: Dinner is a super highlight. I think the B&B has such a beautiful environment, and the meal should be average, but it is so delicious that you can lick the plate. The river fish stewed with tofu must be ordered. It is fresh. We have two adults and two children, one river fish stewed with tofu, one green vegetable and fried egg, and a small stir-fried meat. It costs 198 yuan, which is cheap. It is the best and cheapest meal I have eaten in Zhangjiajie. In short, it is really a surprise. The content included in this price is very cost-effective. It met my needs for a relaxing vacation, I am very satisfied and will definitely recommend it to my friends!

Our stay at Home2 has been great! Nicole at the reception was lovely! The original room we booked was facing the train tracks so it was a bit noisy. I told Nicole and she responded very quickly and changed our room so I can have a good sleep! Thank you! The room we changed to is a small suite with plenty of storage and a big bathroom. We had some issues finding cutlery but a call to the reception quickly got what we needed. The breakfast selection was a bit limited but you got everything from cold salad to hot noodles. We feel the stay could have been improved if there is concierge service to help with luggages at door or opening taxi doors when entering the lobby.

Traveling as an European family of 5. What a pleasant stay we had! From the moment we made the booking until we got dropped off at the airport. Scarlet and Dennis were so friendly and so very helpful. Everything we asked for they tried to make it work! Because we’re with 5 they had to be flexible when picking us up at the train station and other moments but they made it work! Large swimming pools with a big area for the kids to play. Free coffee, water, fresh juice and a robot to deliver it to your room. Nice rooms with good beds Great breakfast, Chinese and western combined. 5 minutes from the airport and less then 10 minutes to the cable way to Tianmen Mountain. Many thanks!

I had an excellent experience, thanks to Yang Zhang specifically — as well as other wonderful and helpful staff. From a smooth late check in met with friendly faces, to helping me get another phone charger late at night. All around, my experience here was perfect. Thank you very much, Sunshine Hotel, you made my experience in Zhangjiajie memorable. A clean, comfortable place to sleep, right by Tianmen Mountain and the Railway Station.
