Haha, let me first praise this B&B. The rooms are spacious and clean. There is a book bar and tea room on each floor. Local friends came to the B&B to chat with me, so we drank tea and chatted in the tea room. The B&B staff also specially sent us West Lake Longjing tea. The service attitude was very good and the scenery was beautiful.

When I arrived at Zhaoqing Lianhu B&B, I found Helianhuwan B&B. Lianhu Xingyuewan B&B is a family. It is outside the archway of Yanqian Village and directly opposite the south gate of Qixingyan. The B&B has parking spaces, which is more convenient than the B&B in the archway of Yanqian Village. The original room booked is not big. Outside the window is the exterior wall of another building, so I added money to change the room on the third floor of Xingyue Bay to see the Qixingyan Scenic Area. The room is very large, one and a half, one big bed and one tatami, and a balcony. The room is fully equipped and has a bathtub. Very clean and very satisfied.

This is my first serious comment since I signed up for Ctrip. The hotel is very diversified and clean. It is a B&B and very close to the surrounding attractions. Turn right and you will find Zijin Xiti 100 meters away. There is a street full of snacks that made me vomit! The boss and the guy are super nice! ! Seeing that we were an elderly family with two children, he hurriedly helped us carry our luggage. Moreover, when we went to the surrounding places, the boss seriously gave us the best advice for outsiders. He even recommended us to choose the free parking. The room is also very spacious, with tatami mats and a small balcony. As soon as the small lights are turned on, the mood rises instantly! Overall, this B&B is the first B&B I have posted on my friends list since I stayed there! !

GGuest UserWhile the homestay may not be situated directly along the street, the owner provides a highly detailed guide to lead you from the Main Street to the homestay. The owner is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room is exceptionally clean, equipped with one time use towels and cups. I received a complimentary upgrade to a queen room with a breathtaking mountain view. The owner patiently offered valuable suggestions for exploring Qixingyan and recommended local dining options when I inquired. The homestay provides laundry facilities, including a washing machine, and a drying area on the balcony. The balcony itself offers a pleasant view and ambience. I highly recommend this homestay, and the area is notably safe.

BBonWe arrived before the check-in time (11am) thinking to store our luggage at the reception, but the receptionist told us the rooms were ready and was kind enough to check us in early, which was a pleasant surprise :D The rooms were nice and clean, no smell of smoke, stable WiFi connection. The rainfall shower head was a bit leaky, but the regular one works fine. It was a little tricky to get the water to the right temperature, but with some trial and error it's not a big problem. The hotel is located conveniently near the Seven Star Crags (just a tunnel away from the Paifang square), and there are many shops within walking distance. Recommended for travellers visiting Zhaoqing!

Pros: The place is clean. Bed is on the firmer side which i like. Windows have screens to keep mosquitos away. Drains have no smell. Hot water is hot enough n good pressure.
They provide disposable towels, so you need to bring your own if you r not keen on using disposable.
Location is fantastic.
Client services are great, provided suggestion on a year card for seven-star cave. Hair dryer n room cleaning at request

Cons: like most accommodations in china, you can hear people speaking in hallway. Lucky no noisy neighbors at night. Some constructions carry out in a flat nearby, so noise starts at around 830am. The lift lobbies and hallway still have protective plastics so the building is not fully occupied....

TTorres999The environment and scenery are pretty good, but there are a few things that really need to be reminded:
1. The housekeeper is basically invisible and has no concept of service. It took me a long time to find a phone number to contact him!
2. Parking spaces are very tight and very inconvenient. Asking the landlord will let you find a place to park. The key is that it is very small and you can't find a place. Once you find a place to park, you will be kicked away. When it comes to setting up a stall, it would take me at least half an hour to find a parking space that day; or I would have to park in someone else’s car, and I would be woken up by someone’s phone call the next day to move the car, and it would be easily scratched;
3. For parking fees, the landlord is only responsible for the parking fees once, and is responsible for the parking fees incurred during other times when going out;
4. The pool outside the room I booked is very shallow, less than 10cm deep. I don’t know who can play in it, and there is only cold water supply;
5. There is a water tank next to the room, which makes a little noise when heated;
6. There are inexplicable stains on the pillow. I don’t dare to use it anyway;
7. The mineral water provided is also the kind that costs a few cents a bottle;
8. The TV can obviously cast the screen, but it is not allowed to use it. It tells you that this function is not supported;
9. A B&B that costs several hundred yuan a night does not even have breakfast, which shows that the supporting services really need to be improved;
The owners of the B&Bs I have contacted before were very enthusiastic and talkative. They also provided a lot of care and concern that hotels cannot provide. If you are not particular about this aspect, you can go and experience it. Basically, there is no service and no one. Will disturb you😁

I've read many reviews saying how the sound proofing of the room was horrible, and yes.. they are true. I can even feel the vibrations from the bigger vehicles resonating throughout the room at night. However, they have a massage chair so that's a plus.
Breakfast was mediocre. Not much options, very limiting but it gets the job done.
Baidu smart speaker enhances user experience as well.

The employees were very friendly but the facilities are lacking. I booked a guestroom because it featured a ceiling window. However, the one feature I was looking forward to was disappointing because the exterior had not been cleaned and was dirty. It was slightly disgusting to even look at. You could also see the wear and tear on the window frame as paint was coming off and even rusted in certain spots. The other aspects of the room however were acceptable and clean.
In terms of view, even though I had a lake-view, there wasn’t much to see. But this is simply due to the location of the hotel, and is an inherent weakness.
I think this hotel is making an effort to become a great hotel and it is getting there. It just needs to focus on some of the small details.
