Hilton Garden Inn Zhongshan South

Service: The check-in desk was staffed by 4-5 people, and the process was incredibly slow. I waited in line, and a woman asked me to wait. I sat aside, and after waiting for almost 20 minutes, no one finally appeared at the front desk. I sat down next to them, but they didn't even let me know. I didn't know what the other people were doing. When I asked, "Is it my turn?" they said, "Sorry, I forgot." They simply didn't care about their customers. I don't know how the manager manages the hotel. The same thing happened at breakfast. I saw two people eating, so I went over to ask if I could, and they said they were closed. It was obvious there were still people eating. There was no human touch at all. The lobby staff wouldn't even greet me when I passed by. The service was truly terrible, my worst experience. Environment: The underground parking lot was average, with a rough concrete floor. The hotel smelled strongly, like renovations. Cleanliness: It was truly unspeakable. When I went to get a towel, I saw a dead cockroach on the floor. How can this be handled? I also got two mosquito bites on my legs. I was completely disappointed. Facilities: I clearly stated in the notes that I wanted a quiet room, not one near the elevator, but I ended up getting the one closest to the elevator. The air conditioner in the room was also very noisy at night, whirring constantly all night.

The glass in room 1301 is completely useless, with no soundproofing at all! It's like sleeping on a busy street, and the traffic doesn't stop even at 1 a.m. The hotel is right next to an elevated highway. The only option for washing your face and brushing your teeth is hot water! The room was incredibly hot, and the air conditioning didn't cool at all. If you go out and return to your room, set the air conditioner to 16 degrees Celsius for three or four hours, and the room is still stuffy, then it keeps showing 22 degrees. And that's not the 22 degrees you'd imagine. The room was actually 26-27 degrees Celsius, not cool at all. This is the south, not the north! Check-in was also incredibly slow and unprofessional! The breakfast options were minimal. I've never stayed at a Hilton hotel this bad! So disappointed.

I'm so lucky to have found such a new hotel. Takeout is so convenient, with a robot bringing it upstairs. Parking is also very convenient, and there's a convenience store downstairs, making it perfect for traveling! The bathtub was especially satisfying! A bigger room would be even better for a family! The staff were so sweet and caring! 👍🏻 I'd definitely stay again!

I chose to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn South District on a business trip to Zhongshan. The overall experience far exceeded my expectations and I must give it a full five-star rating! First and foremost, the hotel's location is incredibly convenient, with easy access to restaurants and shopping nearby. The lobby is bright and stylish, and the rooms, as always, maintain the Hilton Garden Inn's high standards: clean and tidy, with comfortable bedding, and a wonderful sleep. My biggest commendation goes to the front desk staff, Estella. When we arrived that afternoon, she warmly checked us in with a friendly smile that instantly melted away our travel fatigue. This warm experience, brought by these excellent staff, is a hotel's most valuable asset. Thank you, Estella and the entire team. I will definitely stay here again when I'm in Zhongshan!
