Zurich District 1-Altstadt Hotels

Room was clean and surroundings have plenty of food and shops. Supermarket is also a stone’s throw away. We got a nice view of the river. Only thing was we had to wait an hour before we could check in as the room wasn’t ready, but the staff compensated us with late check out the next day. No complaints other than that!

The location was good, however, the bed cover was not really comfortable and does not seem clean. Also, when I open the door of room, the bathroom comes first. Which means you have to pass by bathroom to go to your room.

Good location that is near the railway station. The room is in reasonable size as it is near the city center. Breakfast is good with fresh bread, fruits, and coffee. The chocolate fountain for free treats at the reception is really an attraction. Service at the front desk is superb. Will come and book the hotel again in the future.

This time I was traveling and stayed at this hotel recommended by a friend. The room was very nice and the attitude of the service staff was also very good. It was very nice. I will come back next time.

The hotel is great, just opposite the Zurich train station. This time I traveled with my mother and daughter. According to the reservation, they took the initiative to add a bed for my 11-year-old daughter. Fruits were free, and there were free chocolates. But I didn't notice that the canned chocolate beans in the minibar were not free, so I ate them anyway. So, it's okay. The service is very good and considerate. It's just a little expensive.

Very close to Zurich HB, and convenient transportation nearby, but the people near the hotel are very office-like, and tourists feel a bit out of place in Zurich 😅… The restaurant is very cute, and each table has small pumpkins of different shapes, but the breakfast is very ordinary, and there are not many varieties. The room is quite small, and it is a bit crowded to spread out two 28-inch suitcases. If you are a strong man traveling, the room may be a bit cramped. By the way, the prunes (or peaches?) in the welcome fruit are delicious! ! ! Can you ask about the fruit category and where to buy it? Is there a brand!

I recently stayed at this hotel on November 16, 2024, and I couldn't be happier with my experience! After a long 13 hour flight from Hong Kong, I was grateful to be allowed an early check-in at 9 AM. This made a huge difference, allowing me to rest before starting my day. Mr. Filippo at the front desk was incredibly helpful. He not only assigned me a lovely room with a terrace but also provided excellent recommendations for nearby attractions, making my first day of a 13-day journey truly special. His courteous demeanor and willingness to assist were very much appreciated. The hotel's location is perfect, just a short walk to the city center and attractions, with everything you need right across the street. This hotel is beautiful! It has a lovely garden with many art pieces. The hotel is classic. The staffs are extremely helpful and friendly.

Hotel location is very very good, just along the famous Bahnhofstasse, and only 2 mins walk to Zurich train station. Staff were excellent. Rooms are clean.

The room is clean and tidy, the bathroom is spacious, with a separate shower room and bathtub, the breakfast coffee downstairs is delicious, and it is very convenient to go shopping in the center of the pedestrian street. The disadvantage is that the door is too small and the view outside the window is average.
