Excellent value for money. The light rail station is conveniently located nearby, just a three-minute shortcut walk away, and Line 4 offers easy access to many attractions in the city center. While the modern decor appeals to younger guests, it might not be ideal for the elderly or young children. In both rooms, guests were unfortunately bumped by the protruding bed corners, and the sharp edges of the mini-fridge cabinet door when opened are quite hazardous. These small design flaws could easily lead to injuries.

Let me emphasize: this is an Ibis **Budget**, not a standard Ibis. I only realized my booking mistake upon arrival. The room was tiny, but perfectly functional, essentially just offering a place to sleep. Transportation is quite convenient, with a tram stop offering direct access to the city center. Located in the Technopark area, it's very quiet, and there are convenient supermarkets close by. Service was decent.

I had my 1 night stay at Fred Guest House Hauptbahnhof. Staff were kind, helpful and gave the best hospitality during my stay. The area was very convenience for short or long stay. It is just a walking distance to the HB train station, Zurich Bus Station, provision store (Migros), restaurants etc. I will come back again and stay at Fred Guest House Hauptbahnhof.

I had a fantastic stay at the Novotel Zurich City West! The hotel is modern and well-appointed, with spacious rooms that are both comfortable and stylish. The staff was friendly and attentive, making my experience even better. The breakfast buffet was delicious and offered a great variety.

Hotel room was clean and modern. Customer service needs a lot of improvement, particularly a receptionist called Natasha. After collecting our luggages from the storage, I proceeded to asked her for the hotel room key as we have yet to check in. She then said ”she wouldn't know anything as I did not provide any details to her”. As a front desk staff, I would think it is part of your responsibility to maybe ask? On another occasion, I asked her if it was okay to get something delivered to the hotel tomorrow as I forgot something and needed it urgently. Her respond was ”Isn't it too late now that I ask her?” The look on her face was a look of annoyance. I told her I could cancel it if it wasn't allowed. Eventually, my item was not delivered as she probably did not cascade the information to the staff on duty the next day. Would appreciate if she could respond nicely, especially when you're in the service line. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with racism?? I've observed that she was very friendly and accomodate a guest of a different race whom asked her for a favour. If you'd like consistently good service, I'd suggest put your money elsewhere. The accomodation doesn't come cheap as well.

Although the hotel is not in the city center, the transportation is very convenient. There is Line 4 downstairs, which can go directly to the train station. When checking in, I found that there was instant noodles for sale, so I bought some and went upstairs to enjoy the delicious food in the room 😋

This hotel is perfectly located just across the road from the Sihqual Bus Terminal, making it incredibly convenient for travelers. I booked a day tour to Grindelwald and Interlaken, and it was an amazing experience (highly recommend!). There’s also a direct bus from the terminal to several famous attractions, which was a huge plus. The hotel staff were extremely friendly, spoke excellent English, and even offered free refreshments in the lobby. The rooms were spotlessly clean with a great shower system, and the soundproof doors and walls ensured a peaceful night’s sleep. With a supermarket and Starbucks right beneath the hotel, it’s one of the best stays I’ve had!

Found a pair of sneakers under the bed which makes me question cleaning standards. Separate we to shower which wasn’t shown in the photos. For a big named hotel, a bit disappointing.
