Introduction Panda Viewing in Chengdu

Introduction
Some information may have been translated by Google Translate
Seeing giant pandas in Chengdu is a natural and cultural journey with a close encounter with the "national treasure". As the region with the largest number of captive giant pandas in the world, Chengdu has built a three-dimensional viewing space that simulates the natural habitat of giant pandas based on core places such as the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base. Surrounded by lush bamboo forests and streams, more than 200 giant pandas in a semi-wild environment show their cute behaviors such as chewing bamboo, climbing trees, and playing, providing tourists with a precious opportunity to observe the daily life of the "national treasure" up close.
The base is divided into different areas such as the baby panda villa and the adult panda activity area. You can see the cute baby cubs in the incubator and the vigorous posture of adult giant pandas climbing trees. Dujiangyan Panda Valley and other surrounding attractions present a leisurely scene of giant pandas walking in the mountains and forests with an ecological environment closer to the wild. In addition, Chengdu's panda-themed experience runs through the entire area: from the popular science exhibition hall in the scenic area to learn about the history of giant panda protection, to the panda-themed cultural and creative store in the city to choose cute surroundings, and then to the specialty cafe to taste panda-shaped desserts, forming an immersive cultural experience.

Chengdu's 798 East Suburb Memory

Chengdu's 798 East Suburb Memory

I don't recommend making a special trip to Chengdu! Detailed guide to East Suburb Memory||East Suburb Memory is an international fashion industry park that has been redeveloped from the former site of the state-owned Hongguang Electron Tube Factory, with a focus on 'fashion design and music art as the twin pillars of development' East Suburb Memory is known as 'China's West End of London' and is a national 4A-level tourist attraction 🗺️Location: East Suburb Memory (northeast corner), No. 4 Construction South Branch Road, Chenghua District, Chengdu City 🅿️Self-driving parking: You can navigate to the underground parking lot of East Suburb Memory's east gate 🚈Public transportation: 8 minutes walk from Exit B1 of East Suburb Memory Station on Metro Line 8 Opening hours: All day Tickets: Free, it is recommended not to go on weekends, it's really crowded 👔Dress: Retro, workwear, street, artistic, cool Internet celebrity check-in (📷It's advised to go early for check-in photos, otherwise it's very crowded): The red brick wall with the big 'Chengdu' characters at the North Second Gate Train head square, 'East Suburb Memory' platform The big love heart and next to the traffic lights there's also a big dog (I didn't go because I'm afraid of dogs) Near the south gate, take industrial style photos near the chimney pipes The large lawn at the West Gate camping square There are many coffee shops☕️, bars, cultural and creative shops, trendy brand shops, vintage clothing shops, restaurants, theaters🎦, and art galleries in the park Suggestions + Personal feelings: If you just want to take photos and check in, it's better to go early, otherwise, you'll have to queue My personal feeling is that there's not much to play with, the commercial atmosphere is strong, and once you've walked down the main street, there's not much left. If it's on the way, you can visit cultural and creative shops, trendy brand shops, vintage clothing shops, etc. to feel the vibe of trendy people, but I don't recommend making a special trip

A hidden gem of a Western restaurant.

A hidden gem of a Western restaurant.

Went for a meal with friends over the weekend. It's been a while since I had Western food, so we decided to go to Niccolo Kitchen. I've been here a few times before, and I heard they recently updated their menu, so I had to come back and try it out. 😋 . First of all, the environment is really nice. It's elegant and private, making it a great place for a date or a small gathering with friends. . Now let's talk about the food. 👇🏻 ▪️Thai-style pomelo grilled prawn salad: I highly recommend this salad. Compared to traditional salads, it's not as bland. The Thai flavor is richer, and the pomelo adds a refreshing sweetness that keeps it from being too heavy. ▪️Pan-fried cowboy bone: The meat is really good. It's tender and not dry at all. It's cooked just right. ▪️Rosemary lamb chops: I personally didn't taste any mutton flavor. The rosemary is really fragrant, and the meat is tender and juicy. I recommend it to anyone who likes lamb. ▪️Herb chicken: This roast chicken is a generous portion. The chicken is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The skin is crispy and the meat is tender. It comes with thick-cut fries, which are really good. ▪️Sichuan-style Wagyu pizza: This is a very unique main course. It's hard to find Sichuan-style pizza. 🌶️ It's quite spicy, and compared to traditional Mexican Tabasco sauce, this Sichuan-style chili is more fragrant. Definitely worth a try. ▪️Dessert: For dessert, we ordered tiramisu, chocolate cake, and berry cake. They were all just the right amount of sweet, not too sweet. They were the perfect ending to the meal. . That's it for today's Western food review. Remember to eat well.

Unbounded experience ♾️

#hotelstaycation There's clearly a distinction between a hotel 🏨 experience and a home 🏡 experience; and in my exploration of numerous hotels in China - The Langbo Chengdu is truly a homey feel. It comes under Unbounded collections of Hyatt group, and they do stand true to that category. I couldn't have asked for a better breakfast in Chengdu than the beef noodles 🍜 with bamboo 🎍 shreds in it. Maybe the panda 🐼 will like me more, because of my likeness towards bamboo 😜 #urbanexplorer#tripblazers#summervacation

Chengdu Panda Reserve: A Close Encounter with China’s Gentle Giants

#pandatour Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, commonly known as the Chengdu Panda Reserve, is a must-visit destination for anyone wanting to see China’s beloved giant pandas up close. Located just outside Chengdu city, this sanctuary is dedicated to the conservation and breeding of these adorable creatures. As you stroll through the lush bamboo groves and see pandas munching on bamboo, playing, and even napping, you’ll get a unique glimpse into their daily lives and learn about the efforts to protect this endangered species. It’s an unforgettable experience for animal lovers and families alike. Travel Tips: * Arrive Early: Pandas are most active in the early morning, typically between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. Arriving early not only lets you see them at their liveliest but also helps you avoid the midday crowds. * Don’t Miss the Panda Kindergarten: One of the highlights of the reserve is the panda kindergarten, where you can watch playful cubs learning to climb, tumble, and interact. It’s a heartwarming and unforgettable sight!

Another Old Town in Chengdu: Luodai Ancient Town

Luodai Ancient Town used to be a place where the Central Plains culture of China and the ethnic minorities of the southwestern region met and exchanged. It was also one of the starting points of the Silk Road, with countless people and stories passing through this historical place. Despite the passage of time, this place has preserved its ancient appearance well. Walking along the quiet alleys, you can feel the style of the old times. Among them, the four large Hakka assembly halls, such as the Guangdong Hall and the Huguang Hall, are important cultural relics of this place and have been designated as national-level cultural relics of China. If you want to feel the past life of the Hakka people, or even if not, just the beauty of this place alone is worth a visit.

Enjoy a vacation without leaving Chengdu!

Enjoy a vacation without leaving Chengdu!

- We found a great place in Chengdu last weekend. The Christmas spirit is already in the air here 🎄 There are shiny decorations and tall Christmas trees everywhere. The kids loved riding the Christmas train 🚂 We chose the aviation-themed family room for our stay. The kids were immediately drawn to the airplane ✈️ elements in the room. They were so excited and started running around and playing. The room was big enough for our family of four! In the afternoon, we sat around the fireplace with the kids, drinking tea and chatting, enjoying some family time. There is also a heated pool, so you can swim in the warm water even in winter. The dinner buffet had everything from fresh seafood to delicious desserts, and even a Chengdu-style hot pot! The kids took their little plates and wandered around the food stations, picking out their favorite foods and eating with relish. We had a fun weekend without leaving Chengdu! It was great! -

The only downside is the long queue!!!

The only downside is the long queue!!!

This is my favorite alley in Chengdu. When I was in college, I often came here with my classmates for dinner. This hot pot restaurant is affordable and delicious! We ordered two pots, one was the signature tofu beef pot, and the other was the pepper pork trotter pot. The tofu beef was spicy and very appetizing. The tofu inside was very tender. It was great to mix it with rice. There were also many side dishes, such as sweet potato noodles and tofu. The pepper pork trotter pot was also good. The pork trotters were very tender. The instant noodles inside were very flavorful. It was great to cook some vegetables after finishing the noodles. They also have desserts and snacks. The iced tofu, old-fashioned popsicles, and plum soup, and Sichuan-style tempura were all good. Remember to go early, because it is really popular. Every time I come, there are always many people. I have to wait in line several times.

Travel - Convenience is the most important Accommodation - Cleanliness is the most important

Travel - Convenience is the most important Accommodation - Cleanliness is the most important

Staying in a hotel, there will always be good and bad, convenient and inconvenient, let me talk about this hotel honestly for your reference. Good news and bad news, I believe most people would like to hear the bad news first, bitter before sweet. Let me talk about the bad first: 1, The room has a strange smell, not well maintained, the door handle is peeling, the floor is black. 2, Room hygiene needs to be improved, there are stains on the sheets, hair on the bed, hair on the floor; later asked for a change of room, there are stains on the pillowcase, asked the room sister to change, the sister's service attitude is still quite good, after changing left a unused pillowcase in the room did not take away this forgetful... 3, Room air outlet, no air conditioning is always ringing, open air conditioning is also ringing, light sleepers probably can't sleep. 4, I stayed for four nights, the cleaning of the extended stay is not comprehensive, the content of each day is not the same, things taken away one day not replenished, one day replenished. 5, The hotel is in a commercial building, there are many companies, peak hours of work, the elevator is hard to wait for🛗. Here are the good things: 1, The hotel's location is still good, downstairs has everything, wherever you go is quite convenient, walking/cycling/taxi/subway station. 2, The Bluetooth speaker in the room has good sound quality, ceiling-mounted. 3, The shower head in the shower room has a lot of water. 4, Across from the sink there is another table and mirror🪞, very friendly to two girls, one girl first washes, then comes to this side to make up, the other girl can continue to wash and make up. 5, Breakfast compared to this price of the hotel, is still okay, the variety should have, I am every day is a bowl of dumplings + egg🍳, a little salad🥗 and fruit🍉, coffee is a must, but the coffee is not good☕️. Room cleanliness is the primary demand of guests, and also the basic demand, followed by bathing and sleeping (noise problem needs to be solved), I hope the hotel pays attention to...
