Fung Taiwanese Cuisine 丰台湾私房菜

Fung Taiwanese Cuisine 丰台湾私房菜

I recently had the opportunity to dine at the newly opened Taiwanese Cuisine restaurant in Toppen Johor Bahru, conveniently located next to IKEA Tebrau. Our meal consisted of some of their signature dishes, including the Salted Crispy Chicken, Tempura, Shrimp and Pork Wanton Noodles, Mee Sua, and Boba Brown Sugar Milk Tea. The food at this restaurant was decent, with some highlights. The Salted Crispy Chicken was a standout, offering a satisfying crunch and delightful seasoning. The Wanton Noodles were flavorful, and the Mee Sua had a comforting homely taste. The Boba Brown Sugar Milk Tea was a sweet treat to end the meal. OMOIII!!! Rare japanese restaurant found in JB

🍣 Jyunzen Japanese Restaurant 📍 56&58-G, Jalan Pertama 1, Pusat Perdagangan Danga Utama, 81300 Skudai, Johor, Malaysia My culinary adventure led me to Jyunzen Japanese Restaurant, a true haven for Japanese cuisine enthusiasts. A stones throw away from paradigm mall!!! Delving into their extensive menu, my family and I found ourselves in a delectable dilemma – the choices were abundant and each option sounded more tantalizing than the last. Our taste buds embarked on a delightful journey as we indulged in an array of dishes, ranging from fresh and succulent raw salmon to creatively crafted rolls that left us craving for more. Jyunzen's commitment to culinary excellence was evident in every bite. The meticulous attention to detail was palpable in their cooked sushi, where flavors melded harmoniously. The crab, bursting with natural sweetness, and the comforting udon and tofu dishes further showcased the kitchen's expertise. In terms of value, the experience was more than worth it. With an average cost of approximately $40 SGD per person, Jyunzen Japanese Restaurant offered a dining experience that was not just a meal, but a memorable journey to the heart of Japan itself. If you're in search of an elegant and authentic Japanese culinary escapade, Jyunzen should undoubtedly be at the top of your list. #jb #johorbaru #japanese #restaurant #lunch

Daiso @ Johor Bahru

Skudai Lbh, Taman Bukit Mewah, 81200 Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia I was surprised to see Daiso at the paradigm mall. The daiso was spacious, just like the ones we had in Singapore. The wide range of items was amazing. From household essentials, to decorative items, to stationery, to gardening supplies, and even electronic accessories. With the recent price adjustment, the daiso store no longer offer the same rate for all the items. Instead there follow a price tier sequence. I am glad that most of the items still stays at below 6 myr. Do note that there is a charge of 20 cents for each plastics bag. So please bring along your plastic bag when you visit the store. #celebratewithtrip #tripblazers #mytripvlog

Guo Ma Shabu Shabu Buffet 🥘

#schoolholidays I was craving for hot pot and we chanced upon Guo Ma Shabu Shabu at Paradigm Mall. It is really affordable only at RM55++ for an all you can eat buffet that includes, beef, pork, mutton, chicken, seafood and many other processed food kind of meat balls and fancy. We loved that it included nice drinks and ice cream, of course food! Everyone gets a maison cup of apple tea but you can later use it to refill other drinks. There are a variety of soup base and we could choose two since we had two pax. The restaurant is also very clean and spacious. We like that we got a four seater for two of us. Having ample of space for our dishes! The meal was so filling. The only think we refilled was drinks .

Shopping at Paradigm Mall

Skudai Lbh, Taman Bukit Mewah, 81200 Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia The paradigm mall is a brand new mall that was getting its popularity after the covid pandemic. There is another paradigm mall in Kuala Lumpur. I have been to the one at Kuala Lumpur. It was smaller than the one at Johor Bahru. The mega paradigm mall is really very huge and spectacular. There are plenty of drop off points, which look very similar to the ones at the Changi airport. In addition, there are many security guards patrolling the place to ensure the safety of the visitors. There are thousands of shops and even a blue Ice skating rink within the mall. The mall is definitely suitable for all to come. Do bring along your family members to come and enjoy. #celebratewithtrip #tripblazers

Toppen Johor Bahru - family fun with kids

So many free playgrounds for the kids though the paid ones are at great value too! Our 3.5 years old toddler had a great busy day out there and ended her fun with the rooftop water playground with a shower facility just beside it. Level 2 outside ikea has 2 dry playgrounds and the rooftop one has a wet and dry one side by side. We went on a weekend but the crowd was manageable. Would certainly go again for the little one to enjoy next year! #jbstaycation #jbtrip #toppen #playgrounds #waterplayground
