Introduction Venice Boat Tour

Introduction
Some information may have been translated by Google Translate
As the only city in the world without land transportation, Venice's 177 canals and more than 400 bridges form a unique water maze, and cruise ship is the best key to unlock this water city.

Unique Landscape: Along the way, you can see the bell tower of St. Mark's Square, the magnificent facade of the Doge's Palace, the century-old commercial port style of the Rialto Bridge, as well as the colorful houses hidden deep in the alleys and balconies for drying clothes. Every frame is a postcard-level picture. Since there is no land transportation, you will have the opportunity to see residents rowing boats home, or occasionally encounter "garbage boats" for waste recycling. Every frame will bring you into the fireworks here and immerse you in the real life of the residents.

Mobile Architecture Museum: Starting from St. Mark's Square, it sails in an inverted S shape along the Grand Canal, with 12-18 The Gothic and Renaissance buildings of the 16th century, such as the Doge's Palace and the Golden Palace, are spread out one after another. The sun shines on the rose-colored marble walls, as if traveling through an art gallery in time and space. When the cruise ship passes the Rialto Bridge, you can look up at this 16th-century white marble arch bridge. The shops lined up on the bridge and the gondolas passing by are interwoven into a vivid medieval picture. Going deep into the small canal, the candy-colored houses of the colorful island Burano and the fireworks of the workshops of the glass island Murano are overwhelming, and every corner is a surprise.

Immersive cultural experience:Choose a traditional gondola. During the 25-50 minute voyage, the gondolier will row the narrow wooden boat designed in the 11th century, cross the Bridge of Sighs and tell the legend of the prisoners, or hum Italian folk songs to take you to explore the hidden water lanes. If you want to explore more deeply, you can take a water bus. The 30-45 minute classic route connects the Renaissance frescoes of the Church of San Giorgio Maggiore, the sunset viewing platform of the Academy Bridge, and even extends to the glass blowing workshop experience on the outer islands. The night cruise is more romantic, with bright lights reflected in the canal and sparkling waves where the boat passes, just like being in the drama scene of "The Merchant of Venice".

In Venice, every boat ride is a dialogue with history and an encounter with art. When gondolas pass through the reflections of bluestone slabs and when water buses pass through thousand-year-old arch bridges, this city floating on the blue waves is telling the legend of human civilization in its own unique way.

Venice, a city on the water, is a romantic painting that never ends.

Venice, a city on the water, is a romantic painting that never ends.

Venice, a city floating on the water, is a city where water is its soul and its life. The crisscrossing rivers are like flowing ribbons, winding through the ancient buildings. The gondola sways gently, drawing elegant arcs on the water, as if telling an ancient story. Walking in the alleys of Venice, the stone road under your feet seems to be telling the vicissitudes of the years. The ancient building walls are mottled, but they still exude the charm of history. Those exquisite window sills and carved doors all show the glory and prosperity of the past. Each building is a work of art, carrying countless stories and memories. St. Mark's Square is the heart of Venice. The magnificent St. Mark's Cathedral stands in it, and the golden dome shines with a sacred light in the sun. Pigeons fly in the square, and tourists either stop to admire or take photos to commemorate, enjoying the tranquility and beauty of this moment. Here, time seems to freeze, allowing people to immerse themselves in the long river of history and feel the unique charm of this city.

Burano, Venice’s Rainbow Island

Burano, Venice’s Rainbow Island

We took a one-day trip to Burano during our stay in Venice. Burano is well known for its lace sewing, colourful houses, great for photo taking. The island is quiet, peaceful and beautiful. It was so relaxing to walk around. Most houses were decorated nicely by the owners with flowers, plants, and colourful painting. We also had delicious seafood at the pier. The deep-fried squid and beer were awesome. This island is easily accessible from Treporti, about 10 minutes. Ambiance/Facilities: 10/10 Rating: 5/5

Bold, Bright and Brilliant: Burano

On this small Venetian island the locals have taken to painting there houses in bright neon colours. Burano is an island in the Venetian lagoon, like Venice it has canals running through it but Burano’s brightly painted houses really make it stand out. From Venice you can take the Public Transport ferry to Burano. The journey time is approximately 50 minutes and is a very pleasant ride in itself. If you’re visiting Venice in 2025 make sure you visit Burano! #burano #venice #italy

Colorful houses dot this lively fishing island with seafood restaurants, a lace museum & bell tower. Burano is worth visiting for its colourful houses and to see how Venetian lace is made. Burano is quieter than Venice, and most tourists from Venice spend half a day to a day here: a really recommendable visit. Burano is an island in the Lagoon of Venice. It is located to the north of Venice, very near Torcello, and is famous for its lacemaking.

Venice Grand Canal: The world's most exquisite 'street' is in the early morning, as we take a boat ride

Venice Grand Canal: The world's most exquisite 'street' is in the early morning, as we take a boat ride

The weather throughout this entire trip to Europe has been great, without a single day of rain, truly fortunate. The peace pigeons at the dock bask in the sun with me, waiting for the ferry together. The Grand Canal of Venice is the main waterway of Venice, naturally winding in an inverted S-shape from St. Mark's Basilica to Santa Chiara Church, and connected to many smaller canals. Most of the city's transportation is conducted through these waterways. In the 15th century, French writer and Venetian ambassador Commynes described the Grand Canal of Venice as the most exquisite street in the world, flanked by the most exquisite houses. Five centuries later, the Grand Canal can still rival the world's most beautiful boulevards. Taking a water bus from Piazzale Roma, weaving between ancient buildings on both sides, quietly appreciating the soul river of Venice, you can most closely experience the daily life of Venetians living on the water. The Grand Canal winds in an inverted S-shape from Piazzale Roma in the northwest to St. Mark's Square in the city center, about 4 kilometers long, 6 meters deep, and 40 to 100 meters wide, serving as Venice's main transportation artery. Over 100 ancient buildings along the banks were once the residences of Venetian nobles and wealthy merchants from the 12th to the 18th century. The first Sunday of September each year is Venice's traditional regatta, a race of gondolas and other traditional boats held on the Grand Canal. Before the race, there is a spectacular parade of boats decorated in 15th-century style.

|Venice Secret Garden Dream

|Venice Secret Garden Dream

|Venice Secret Garden Dream. The Ca' del Nobile is located at Calle Avvocati 3836 S.Marco, Venice, in a very convenient location. It is especially easy to get to the hotel from the San Angelo vaporetto station, and it is surrounded by picturesque scenery and charming architecture. When we arrived at the hotel, the reception at the front desk was very friendly and efficient, making us feel at home. The hotel's decor is a warm, comfortable, and elegant combination, with every detail looking exquisite. The hotel is also well-equipped, from the in-room safe to the air conditioning, to the electric kettle and warm slippers. We were lucky enough to stay in a spacious and luxurious room with a simple and elegant design and very comfortable bedding, just like relaxing at home 😊. Speaking of the room experience, it was really impeccable. Our room was spacious, the bed was large and soft, and it was well-equipped, including a hairdryer and slippers. Every morning was a treat because we could enjoy a delicious breakfast, especially the pancakes and omelets, which were the best I've ever had! And the hotel has a small balcony overlooking the beautiful canal 🌊. There are many famous attractions near the hotel, within walking distance of St. Mark's Square and the Rialto Bridge. St. Mark's Square is the heart of Venice, full of history and culture, and you can enjoy a leisurely afternoon at the surrounding cafes ☕️. And just a few steps away from the hotel, the Rosa Rossa restaurant is a favorite of a certain celebrity and a great place to taste Venetian cuisine 🍕. Of course, the hotel does have a few minor drawbacks. For example, the hotel is relatively quiet and less active at certain times of the evening. However, for those who like a quiet atmosphere, this is an advantage 😌. Overall, the Ca' del Nobile is a great choice for a stay in Venice! It is not only well located and well-equipped, but also friendly service, making you feel warm and comfortable every moment. This stay made our impression of Venice even more profound, and the hotel itself created many wonderful memories for us 💕. If you are planning to come to Venice, don't hesitate, be sure to try the Ca' del Nobile!
