Day 3 in Europe--The town of Sintra, home to the royal palaces and castles
📍Attraction Address: The town of Sintra is located near Lisbon
🚗Access to Attraction: It's just over a 30-minute train ride from Lisbon to Sintra
👍️Must-Visit Attractions: Sintra town (Sintra) was the summer residence of Moorish nobility and the Portuguese royal family, situated at the foot of the mountains sharing the same name as the city, and is a beautiful place. The area is characterized by rolling hills, with palaces, castles, and villas nestled amidst the lush greenery, blending human culture with natural scenery. Its unique cultural landscape has led UNESCO to list it as a World Heritage Site. Moreover, considering that its natural scenery is as important as its historical architecture, UNESCO has also created a special category for it--'Cultural Landscape'.
🎟️Ticket Information: Sintra has seven palaces, castles, and manor villas, with two bus routes, 434 and 435, as well as taxis and other vehicles.
💗Other Tips: It's impossible to see everything in one day. This time I chose one palace, one castle, and one villa, and it wasn't until after five in the afternoon that I finished. I recommend staying for two days, as the scenery and climate here are very pleasant and worth looking forward to.
