🚂 We traveled by train from Bangkok to Samut Songkhram, with our destination being Amphawa. This was our first time visiting Amphawa. When thinking of this place, the Amphawa Floating Market often comes to mind, but we must say that there are so many attractions here. 🏍️ We started by renting a motorbike. After finishing breakfast, we headed to the Tha Phae Community in Phraek Nam Daeng. Here, they offer bamboo raft tours several times a day. The raft takes you along the river, with various types of trees lining both sides. The atmosphere is incredibly serene. During the trip, we stopped to enjoy a refreshing honey lemon drink, which was absolutely delicious. We also tried fishing with a traditional lift net and caught a sea bass—such a fun experience! Next, we rode our motorbike to Wat Bang Kung. Along the way, we stopped to take photos at a beautiful yellow bridge. Upon arriving at Wat Bang Kung, we paid our respects and made wishes for good fortune. Afterward, we returned to the Amphawa Floating Market to take photos around the market bridge. The nighttime lights were stunning. Our one-day trip to Amphawa was so much fun. We highly recommend visiting the places we mentioned. They are truly beautiful!

When planning your trip, it is usually recommended to combine Mae Klong with Amphawa Floating Market or Mae Klong with Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. The train passes through the market at scheduled times of 8:30, 11:10, 14:30, and 17:40 daily, with a total of 8 passes back and forth. You need to arrive early to wait at the market, but Thai trains are generally not punctual. After the train arrives, it will reverse direction, so you can see the railway market scene both ways. There are many vendors near the station where you can buy things. The Thai iced tea here is cheap and delicious, so be sure to grab a cup.
