"National Museum of Riyadh|Saudi Arabia Food, Drink & Fun ③"
📌
After arriving in Saudi Arabia, I gradually realized that this city has more "stories" than I imagined.
On the third day, I chose the National Museum of Riyadh as my destination—a place that not only displays artifacts but also tells the "growth history of Arab civilization."
⸻
🌞 01. At first glance, I was stunned by this "golden halo"
Walking to the entrance, I was first attracted by the golden circular art installation at the door.
Combined with the unique sandstone architectural tones of Saudi Arabia, every photo looks like a blockbuster poster.
You feel like this is not a museum, but a historical movie playing.
I also took a photo at the entrance, the sunlight was just right, lucky me 😂.
⸻
🌿 02. Unexpected discovery, a small and beautiful "Oasis Garden"
Saudi Arabia is very sunny, but the greenery outside the museum is truly healing.
Large lawns, shade trees, and the sound of leaves rustling in the wind—
Suddenly I understood why locals cherish every piece of green space; "green" is really precious here.
⸻
🦴 03. Entering the museum, traveling step by step from the universe to Arab civilization
My favorite is the "Man and the Universe" exhibition hall.
It starts with the "origin of life on Earth"—
🌍 Dinosaur fossils
🌌 Prehistoric meteorites
📜 Ancient Arabic script
🎨 Pre-Christian era murals and artifacts
Everything is so impressive, making you feel:
Before oil, this land already had thousands of years of civilization weight.
⸻
📜 04. The details of the artifacts are worth your slow appreciation
For example, the stone tablet engraved with ancient script, and murals whose colors are still vivid.
You feel that history is not lying in books, but alive and watching you.
⸻
👣 05. Finally, when walking to the exit, the sunlight poured in again
Before leaving, I took another photo in the corridor.
The light and shadow in Saudi Arabia are really perfect for photography; the architecture is all straight lines and golden ratios, just standing anywhere makes a great shot.
⸻
🕒 Opening hours: Morning to evening
💰 No admission fee
📸 Perfect for a day of photography + relaxation + learning
⸻
📌 Who is it suitable for?
✔ People who want to learn about Saudi history
✔ People who want to shoot Japanese-style quality light and shadow photos
✔ People who want to find a quiet, culturally rich place in the city center
⸻
If you are traveling in Riyadh, I strongly recommend taking a walk here.
Saudi Arabia is not just deserts, but also civilizations spanning thousands of years.
