From July 1 to July 5, starting from 🇨🇦 Vancouver, crossing 🇺🇸 Washington, Idaho, Montana, then returning to BC through Alberta, Canada. The total distance is about 2800 kilometers. Day 1 Richmond → Leavenworth → Steptoe Butte → Spokane Valley First visit the German-themed town of Leavenworth, then head to Steptoe Butte to overlook Washington State’s iconic wheat fields. Stay overnight in Spokane Valley. Day 2 Spokane Valley → Coeur d’Alene → Sandpoint → Kootenai Falls → Whitefish Cross three states in one day: Washington, Idaho, and Montana, accompanied by beautiful lakes and mountains. Stay overnight in Whitefish. Day 3 Whitefish → Glacier National Park → 🇨🇦 Alberta → Rossland Enter from the west gate early in the morning and drive along Going-to-the-Sun Road, stopping at The Loop, Weeping Wall, Big Bend, Logan Pass, Jackson Glacier Overlook, Wild Goose Island Overlook, and St. Mary. We were lucky to see deer, mountain goats, and black bears. After leaving the national park, enter Alberta, Canada via Chief Mountain Highway, then return to BC along Highway 3. Stay overnight in Rossland. Day 4 Rossland → Champion Lakes → Nelson → Balfour → Kootenay Bay → Rossland Experience the free sightseeing Train No. 23 and the Kootenay Lake Ferry in Nelson. Day 5 Rossland → Anarchist Mountain Lookout → Spotted Lake → Peach King Orchards → Chilliwack → Richmond 🚗 Tips ✅ Going-to-the-Sun Road is the only road crossing Glacier National Park from east to west. Most sections are two-way single lanes with many curves, so drive cautiously and slowly. On the way to Logan Pass, there was a collision with an oncoming vehicle ahead. Fortunately, kind locals directed alternating traffic flow, so the delay was not long. ✅ We arrived at Logan Pass at noon on July 3 (National Park free admission day). There were still plenty of parking spaces available, contrary to online claims of difficulty parking. This is a self-drive loop at the US-Canada border that offers a rich experience of wheat fields, glaciers, snow-capped mountains, lakes, ferries, and wildlife.

We recently dined at VN Pho Galaxy and overall had a good experience with the food. The Vietnamese dishes were delicious and satisfying definitely comforting and flavorful. We especially appreciated the availability of condiments like plum sauce and chili sauce, which added extra depth to the meal. However, the service left us a bit uncomfortable. Our server seemed rushed while taking our order and didn’t come across as very welcoming. Unfortunately, we felt somewhat pressured during the ordering process. We also noticed a difference in how she interacted with other customers, appearing more warm and friendly toward others, which made our experience feel less pleasant. That said, the food itself was enjoyable and worth trying. Bridal Veil Falls Provincial Park: a scenic day-use park. The main attraction is Bridal Veil Falls, a waterfall dropping about 122 metres (≈ 400 feet) down a rock face, creating a veil-like effect. Short hike (~15-25 minutes from parking) through forest to viewpoint at base of falls. Picnicking in the park. Woodland Trail that loops back toward parking lot. For more adventurous visitors: paragliding/hang-gliding in the region. Nearby attractions: golf courses, Cheam Lake Wetlands, small amusement / water slide activity in summer.

🌷The Chilliwack/Fraser Valley Regional District on the west coast of British Columbia, Canada is famous for its tulip fields. I came across Greendale Acres (pictured in image 6️⃣) and was drawn in by the flower fields and the crowds of people. 🌷🆚🏔️ I visited the tulip fields, which are in full bloom and opened in early April. There are cartoon installations and many amusement park rides. The snowy mountains in the background make for a unique photo opportunity! Highlights: 🌷Colorful tulip fields 🏔️Majestic snow-capped mountains in the background 👶Many amusement park rides, especially suitable for families with children 💰Admission fee: 🎫 $15 🚙Suitable for self-drive tours 🅿️Free parking, but parking spaces are limited

#2月好去地方2025 After driving for more than an hour from Vancouver, we arrived at the quiet town of Chilliwack. Although it is not a popular tourist attraction, it has a comfortable rural atmosphere. I drove up the mountain at night and found a hidden highland secret. Looking down from here, the lights of the entire Chilliwack were dotted between the valleys. The night view was unexpectedly beautiful, and there was a sense of tranquility. In the morning, we went to the town’s 1881 business district. The buildings in this area have a retro style, and there are several unique shops hidden in the alleys. The atmosphere is very leisurely. I went to Smoking Gun Coffee Roaster specifically. The hand-brewed coffee in this coffee shop is amazing. I also bought a white thermos cup with a coffee tree totem. The texture is great. I highly recommend it! Overall, Chilliwack is a place suitable for slowing down and enjoying the small town atmosphere. If you have been in Vancouver for a long time, it is quite nice to come here for a walk.

We woke up at 2am, drove in the dark on a really bumpy road and then hike 8km in the dark to watch forts light in the summit, I need a nap now but anyways, I would definitely donor again for this view
