Zaragoza as the fifth largest city in Spain which Plaza Pilar is the central Square of Zaragoza. The famous Cathedral of Our Lady of Pilar and the Cathedral of Jesus the savior of Zaragoza are located on this square. It is indeed quite beautiful. Many of the landscape here are particularly good. The square here are basically Gothic building. The scenery is so wonderful. There were also so many pigeon on the square, really cute. Spanish Pyrenees Hike ~ Zaragoza (Region) Construction began with an apse finished in stone, as was common in Romanesque art; but halfway through the work, Mudéjar architects took over and abandoned the stone in favor of the traditional exposed bricks, finishing the church in brick. The church is small, consisting of a single nave, with a chapel on either side of the aisle (14th century), a presbytery house and an apse. The atrium forms the main doorway. Inside, the nave is covered by a wooden roof. Pyrenees adventure in Spain ~ Zaragoza (region) The station is now abandoned, with its entrances bricked up. However, it has been converted into a small rest area equipped with benches and tables, serving as a supplementary stop along the greenway from Villanueva de Jiloca to Murero. This route is completely flat and offers stunning views with an industrial aesthetic. If the station could be properly renovated and utilized as a welcoming space, it might have the potential to become a promising tourist attraction—what a pity!

A journey through the Spanish Pyrenees to Zaragoza (region) Following a path leading to the grand castle, the climb is quite smooth. The shorter route takes about 45 minutes, while the longer one requires 2 hours. Be sure to visit the observation deck to enjoy the scenery—the city views are stunning. There's a beautiful legend associated with this place. While there’s still room for improvement to make the experience even more delightful, the interest in showcasing this part of the city is truly commendable.

Seven ancient gates still exist: Fuente Alta or Reina (the grandest gate, located below a trapezoidal tower with battlements); Jaca and Nador, each with a defensive tower; Zaragoza, with two towers on either side; El Mudo (the only building with pointed arches), with a tower on either side; and Unicastillo and Bueno, of which only arches and surviving stone arches exist; The castle is located on a small promontory. It dates back to the 12th century and has been reformed since then. Long ago, a wooden castle once stood there, but it was destroyed many years ago. This is a very beautiful place with a rich history, offering the best views of SOS and its surrounding areas, including the distant Valentuñana Monastery.

Special mention should be made of the Castillo Fortress, whose "Torre del Homenaje" (main building) was originally built in the 11th century and restored in the 14th century, where the Tower Museum is located. There is also the Gothic Palace of Peter IV, dating from the same century and a unique example of Gothic palace architecture in Aragon. Santa Maria Church is a designated cultural heritage site and features a cloister and Romanesque/Gothic decorations. The Church of San Juan is also designated a cultural property and features 13th-century frescoes. Finally, we should mention medieval (13th century) exchanges. It is also worth visiting the Los Bañales Archaeological Zone, one of the main Roman sites in Aragon. The beautiful surrounding countryside makes Ancastillo a great place for hiking. Pyrenees in Spain - Zaragoza (Region) An excellent destination for cycling, this is a beautiful and tranquil place where you can enjoy the stunning views of Moncayo and its spectacular surroundings. It is the closest spot to Moncayo where you can see the entire El Monte area. On the way to Grisel, there are some quite challenging slopes, so if you're not in good physical condition, you might struggle a bit.

A very small city with a lot of things to see. We arrived thinking to make a quick stop for a few hours and we ended taking a night in a hotel. 🤗 The main square is stunning, you should go during the daylight and at nightime. Walking along the river is so beautiful and romantic. You have a big avenue with shops but if your thing is getting lost and just enjoy nature go where the water is and you will find your place. You also have some snacks places. I did enjoy a delicious waffle. As a funny fact, I never saw a machine that could make a pizza and there is one there so I order one as I was curious. It was ok for something on the go. Do not think to spend a few hours and at least make it a night trip. #nomcdo #staycation
