My Travel Experience to Batang, Tulunan, North Cotabato Traveling to Batang, a peaceful barangay in Tulunan, North Cotabato, was a journey filled with excitement and discovery. We traveled using our personal motorcycle, enjoying every moment of the open road. The ride was smooth and refreshing, with beautiful views of green fields, fresh mountain air, and the simple, peaceful life of the countryside. For those who prefer it, four-wheeled vehicles like cars can also easily reach Batang, as the roads are well-accessible. Batang is located in the southern part of Tulunan, a first-class municipality in North Cotabato, part of the SOCCSKSARGEN region in Mindanao, Philippines. It’s a quiet, welcoming place where the community is close-knit, and nature is all around you. This trip made me realize that sometimes the most meaningful journeys are not the ones that take us to grand cities, but the ones that bring us closer to the heart of simple living. Kidapawan is home to many water falls, one of them being the beautiful Tousuvan falls. the water there is so cold that many use the stream to keep their drinks cold. the trip to Tousuvan falls takes you through beautiful scenery including a few cafes and small local restaurants near cliffs of the mountain. This a perfect spot for those looking for a quiet place and for those on a budget. you can find hotels on the cheaper side in the main city and visit many other waterfall through out the trails as well.
