The Dachau Concentration Camp was also an opportunity to reflect on and learn about its tragic history. Two hours was not enough for this trip either, so if you're planning on visiting, you might need half a day. Driving in Germany was easy. Of course, you have to be mindful of keeping to the right and driving on the left, and obey the speed limit (more people obey it than in Japan). When exiting the Autobahn onto a regular road, you'll suddenly come across a turning point, so you have to change lanes more quickly than in Japan, but the drivers are generally kind and willing to let you through. I was there when I was at Munich. You will learn a lot of WW2 history here. It is quite an emotional tour to learn about the Holocaust. I strongly recommend to follow a guided tour here so that you will learn more from the tour guide.

Dachau is a city located about 15km northwest of Munich. You can visit the remains of the concentration camps built by Hitler, the cells, barracks, and gas chambers. There is also a museum that explains the atrocities of the past through photos and exhibits. It is not something that makes you feel good when you see it. Rather, it makes your heart ache and makes you feel sad. However, I think it is very meaningful to visit this place in order to properly understand and not forget the events that occurred in the history of mankind. Currently, there is a war in Ukraine.
