Pipa Fort is located in Jianshe Town, Datian County, Sanming City, Fujian Province. It is a tulou built during the Qing Dynasty. The characteristic of this tulou is that it is surrounded by mountains and encircled by green vegetation. Therefore, this tulou is also called "a treasure amidst green mountains and clear waters." Upon arriving at Pipa Fort, I was drawn in by the beautiful scenery. Surrounded by hills and vegetation, I felt as if I had stepped into a paradise. Walking along the mountain path into the tulou, I saw ancient tulou buildings and stone tablets. Although these tulou have a long history, they are still well preserved, allowing me to experience the unique charm of this tulou. In front of the stone tablet at Pipa Fort, I saw an elderly man carefully studying the inscriptions. I thought he must be one of the guardians of this tulou! I approached him and asked about the history and culture of this tulou. The elder enthusiastically answered my questions. He also told me that this tulou was built during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty and has a history of over 200 years. After listening to the elder's introduction, I became even more interested in the history and culture of this tulou. After visiting Pipa Fort, I took a walk in the surrounding terraced fields and woods. The scenery of the terraced fields and woods here is also very beautiful. As you go up the stairs toward the elevator, you can even see statues of gods, which is a special feature of this small hotel in southern Fujian. The room is of moderate size and not cramped. The bathroom is quite large and the overall room is clean. The soundproofing is average, but the surrounding environment is good. Dongban She Ethnic Village is located in the northern part of Taoyuan Town, Datian County, Sanming City. The village was formed and established during the early Song Dynasty (960-997 AD). It is 9 kilometers away from the town center and consists of four natural villages, inhabited by families with surnames such as Wu, Xiong, Liu, Huang, Zhang, and Lin. There are three dialects spoken here: Hakka, local, and Minnan. The main industries are rice, corn, and vegetables, with bamboo, high mountain tea, and She medicine as auxiliary industries. Over the centuries, Dongban has maintained its history of over a thousand years. The ancient residences are well-preserved, the scenery is beautiful, and the cultural heritage is rich and unique. The original ecology has long been free from pollution and destruction. The unique She culture, the green hills and waters, the ancient residences, the thousand-year-old trees, and the profound folk customs are like a fine aged wine, intoxicating without drinking. Dongban is a thousand-year-old village, an ecological rural area, a beautiful countryside, a She ethnic village, and a cultural village. It is the only She ethnic minority village in Datian. Sanming Taoyuan Self-Driving Tour Driving on the highway, I accidentally saw the sign for Taoyuan and was reminded of Tao Yuanming's 'The Peach Blossom Spring.' Curious, I decided to take a look and exited the highway at Taoyuan. Turning right and driving forward for 200-300 meters, I reached the tourist distribution center of Taoyuan. After driving in and asking the staff, they warmly explained that their Flower Sea Amusement Park was nearby, just 200-300 meters straight ahead. Walking around the park, I felt much more relaxed, and it seems like a place where kids could play all day without getting bored. The staff told us that hidden deep in the mountains is a thousand-year-old ancient village (Dongban Ancient Village), ancient trees, and a castle, known as Anliang Fort. Following the navigation for about 8km, the scenery along the way was also very nice, full of greenery and fresh air, with a high negative ion content of over 8000 all year round. It took about 10-20 minutes to reach the entrance of the scenic area. Walking in, it truly felt like a paradise on earth, with various types of local ancient dwellings. The staff mentioned that the area occasionally hosts various events. They told us that recently, their scenic area was the filming base for the short drama 'A Single Blow to the City,' a sketching base for college students, a venue for orienteering competitions, and a research and study base for students. It seems they've really done a great job. Strolling through the ancient village, I felt like I was part of it, transforming into a member of the She ethnic group. Anliang Fortress is located in Datian County, Sanming City, Fujian Province. It was built in the 15th year of the Jiaqing era of the Qing Dynasty (1810) and took 5 years to complete. The fortress spans 40 meters from north to south and 35 meters from east to west, covering an area of nearly 1500 square meters. The entire fortress is built along the mountain terrain, with a lower front and a higher back; it has 48 rooms built along its walls, and the height difference of up to 14 meters gives Anliang Fortress a staggered and increasingly imposing appearance. It is now the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units. Anliang Fortress is a typical defensive earthen fortress built against the mountain, in an irregular semicircular shape. On the left and right sides of the main gate, there are 15 wooden corridor houses with Xieshan-style roofs, which overlap like fish scales from top to bottom, used for storing grain in peacetime and as 'refuges' in wartime.
