Te'avaro travel guide and discussion

Tahiti is a paradise on earth that you should visit at least once in your life🏝️ It's also popular as a honeymoon destination in Japan! I recommend it to those who are tired of going to Hawaii! There are few Japanese people here, so it feels like you've come abroad!😊 And since it's a French territory, the food is tropical French, and everything you eat is really delicious🤤 By the way, there are many remote islands in Tahiti, and the cost varies greatly depending on the remote island!! If you want to keep costs down, I recommend Moorea over Bora Bora! You can easily get there by ferry from the main island! I couldn't afford Bora Bora, so I splurged and stayed at the Sofitel on Moorea!! I definitely recommend Tahiti to those who want to spend a relaxing holiday with blue sea, sunshine, and delicious food! 📍Sofitel Moorea Ia Ora Beach Resort #0 yen travel autumn #Tahiti #Tropical #Resort #Water cottage #100 travel styles #Hotel trip

I highly recommend this experience if you’re visiting Moorea! The views are absolutely incredible, and the team is exceptionally professional, friendly, and reassuring. It was my first skydive ever, and I felt nervous, excited, and terrified all at once 😂. But from the start, they made me feel completely safe and in great hands. A special thank you to Nicola, who jumped with me, and to the instructor who helped my friend (so sorry, I forgot your name!), both of whom were lovely and made the experience so much fun. Even the staff at the airfield and the plane’s pilot were welcoming and professional. You can tell safety is a top priority, but they also make sure you enjoy every second. Honestly, it’s one of the most unforgettable things I’ve ever done. Jumping out of a plane over Moorea with those views is something I’ll cherish forever. 100% recommend! 🪂🌴💙

The perfect day with ideal weather and an incredible location to experience my first tandem jump. The sensations were absolutely amazing. I’m already eager to do it again. A big thank you to Guillaume, Nicolas, Teheiarii, and Cyril for making this day unforgettable.

Tahiti is a romantic paradise in the South Pacific. Here's a travel guide from Shanghai to Tahiti: Best Time to Visit · Peak season: May to October is the dry season with sunny and comfortable weather, perfect for honeymoons and photography. However, flight and hotel prices are higher, and popular attractions can be crowded. · Off-season: November to April is the rainy season with humid weather and occasional heavy rains, but fewer tourists and some hotels offer up to 50% discounts. · Best value period: Late April and early November are transitional periods between seasons with relatively stable weather and prices 20%-30% cheaper than peak season. Transportation · International flights: Faa'a International Airport (PPT) is the main gateway. Flights from Shanghai require connections via Tokyo, Auckland, etc. Air Tahiti Nui is recommended for good service, or watch for deals on Air France and Air New Zealand. Round-trip fares range from ¥9,000-15,000, higher during peak season. · Local transport: Between Tahiti and nearby islands like Bora Bora and Moorea, choose domestic flights (frequent and fast) or ferries (cheaper with scenic views). On islands, options include car rental (international license required), buses (infrequent), or taxis (expensive). Must-Visit Attractions · Tahiti Main Island: Visit Papeete Market for local crafts; Pointe Venus black sand beach is uniquely charming; Tahiti Waterfall offers beautiful hiking trails. · Bora Bora: Famous for romantic overwater bungalows with stunning lagoon views at dawn. Coral Garden is perfect for snorkeling with diverse marine life like clownfish. · Moorea: Swim with stingrays and sharks, or hike to Moorea Belvedere lookout for breathtaking sunset views over the island. Itinerary Suggestions · 7-day trip: 3 days in Tahiti exploring Papeete Market, black sand beach, and waterfall hike; 2 days in Bora Bora staying in overwater bungalows and snorkeling; 2 days in Moorea for water activities and scenic viewpoints. Accommodation Recommendations · Bora Bora: The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort offers impeccable service with 24-hour butlers and overwater villas featuring glass floors. Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora sets the luxury standard with prime location. · Moorea: Consider Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa or Sofitel Moorea Ia Ora Beach Resort for beautiful bay and lagoon views. Important Tips · Essentials: Pack high-SPF sunscreen, sun-protective clothing, sunglasses, waterproof phone case, underwater camera, lightweight hiking shoes, and insect repellent. · Currency: Use French Pacific Franc (XPF). Most hotels and shops accept cards, but carry some cash for markets and small vendors. · Language: Official languages are French and Tahitian. English is understood in tourist areas, but learning basic French greetings enhances the experience. · Safety: Generally safe, but keep valuables secure in crowded places like markets.

Hi guys! I know 2026 feels super far away, but as a uni student, I literally need to start planning and saving up from now haha. I’ve been researching dream destinations lately, and Tahiti just jumped straight to the top of my list! Apparently, the whale watching season from late July to November (July 20 – Nov 20 to be exact) is absolutely insane. You can actually see humpback whales, and if you’re lucky, even a mama whale with her baby! 🥺 What I love most is how protective they are of the marine life there. If you want to go, you have to follow some strict eco-rules: · You must go with a licensed operator (no random boats allowed!). · Boats have to stay at least 100m away, and swimmers can't get closer than 15m. · Only 6 people are allowed in the water at a time, and you have to be super quiet so you don't startle them. Honestly, I love that they put the animals' safety first. It makes the experience feel even more special and respectful. I’m already dreaming of staying somewhere gorgeous in Moorea or Bora Bora—maybe Sofitel Moorea or the Conrad? Definitely need to start budgeting for this, but a girl can dream! Has anyone been to Tahiti before? Or is anyone else planning a big graduation/summer trip for 2026? Please share your tips or any cute local food spots you know in the comments, would love to chat! 👇
