The Louvre Abu Dhabi is truly worth the visit!!

The maritime Louvre is so worth it, worth it, worth it! The architecture is beautiful, with the bird's nest perforated roof allowing sunlight to fall on the ground like rain, the walls' whiteness, the sea's blue, plus the embellishment of golden light spots, the museum itself can already be called a work of art. I really like their curation, most of the artworks can be viewed 360 degrees all around, and they also compare similar works from different countries/regions in the same display case. For example, Italian and Pakistani sculptures both influenced by Greek aesthetics; deities from China, Japan, India, Africa, and Europe; various versions of the Quran, the Bible, and hand-copied scriptures from China and Japan. The exhibits are also of high quality, with works by Monet, Da Vinci, and Rodin here! There's even one, supposedly with a real cross inside the box, but there was nothing on that display stand! Such a pity I missed it! There are also some cute exhibits, I even saw a book teaching palmistry, this museum is really interesting! I don't think there's much to see at the Presidential Palace, the structure feels the same all over the world, with large squares, white castles, blue sky fountains, and man-made lakes. The castle's architecture is a bit like the Alhambra Palace, but the inside of the main hall feels a bit like the grand palace in Serbia, the function hall's decoration feels splendid but lacks uniqueness. My friend asked why we spent money to come here, saying you could see the same thing in any decent hotel, even the facilities are the same, meeting rooms, banquet halls. I laughed 📖!
